So the problem is that Swedes have been too tolerant and liberal, in tolerating the planting and proliferation of a hateful, supremacist, and anti-Semitic ideology on Swedish soil.

Muhammad, profit of Islam, married Aiisha when she was 6 and consummated the marriage when she was 9. In the meantime, he enjoyed the “pleasure of the thighs…” and since Muhammad was “the perfect man”, al insan al kamil, he is to be emulated by every believing Muhammedan on the globe until the world is Islamic and all religion for Allah…

It is heartbreaking, even as it is unsurprising.  In Britain, the authorities are now reporting the forced marriage of girls as young as nine years old on British soil.  We are not talking about one case, but several, which take place under official protection. We are not speaking, then, about parents or “husbands” who are being charged with a criminal offense.  The situation, in other words, is completely unacceptable and makes clear that we have a crying need for a new approach to these matters.  Government must put its foot down – and powerfully so – so that there will be no doubt as to the way in which such grotesque crimes will be addressed.

Prosecutors say they will appeal. Widianto, for his part, defended himself “by saying the marriage was allowed by his religion.” Child protection advocates are quite correct that the ruling sets a bad precedent, but the precedent that contributes even more to the persistence of child marriage in Islamic countries is Muhammad’s own example, having married Aisha at the age of six, and consummating the marriage when she was nine.

Ungaran, 14 October (AKI/Jakarta Post) – An Indonesian court has acquitted controversial Muslim cleric Pujiono Cahyo Widianto over child sexual molestation charges for marrying an underage girl, aged 12 last year. Widianto risked up to 15 years in jail, had he been convicted of the charges. Prosecutors said they would appeal the court ruling. The girl is his second wife.

Question Number 6 for Solkhar!

Not that we have much hope for Solkhar to answer the question:  he is yet to answer the first five. But if Solkhar is truly a moderate, modern, civilized Muslim he would certainly agree with Geert Wilders: Wilders  just called the Islamic prophet Muhammad a pig for marrying Aisha when she was six and consumated the marriage when she was nine.

Question for Solkhar: is the 80-year-old Muslim within his rights or is he a pig like Muhammad for ‘marrying’ a 10-year-old girl?

Right now Wilders is playing offense: “The PVV leader wants Verhagen to summon the Saudi Arabian ambassador to express his repugnance.” But expect the cascade of protests and condemnations — from both Muslims and dhimmis — to begin soon. Still, however, this puts those who will condemn Wilders in a peculiar position. If they take issue with his characterization of Muhammad, they will either be excusing the Muslim prophet’s marriage to a six-year-old and declining to condemn those Muslims who imitate their prophet by taking child brides,or, if they say that Muhammad didn’t actually marry a child, they’re in the position of denying evidence that is in the sources Muslims consider most reliable. Yet as this incident with the 80-year-old and his 10-year-old bride demonstrates (“my marriage is not against Shariah,” said the codger), many Muslims take that evidence quite seriously.

THE HAGUE, 28/08/09 – Party for Freedom (PVV) leader Geert Wilders has seized on a news report from Saudi Arabia for peppery written questions to the cabinet. In these, he compares the Islamic prophet Mohammed to a pig.

Wilders has requested clarification from Foreign Minister Maxime Verhagen on a marriage in Saudi Arabia between an 80 year old man and a 10 year old child. The child had run away from her elderly husband, but was brought back to him by her father, the English-language website Arab News reports based on a Saudi newspaper.

Wilders asks the minister if he shares the view that “this man is behaving like a pig, just like the barbarous Prophet Mohammed, who married the six year old girl Aisha.” The PVV leader wants Verhagen to summon the Saudi Arabian ambassador to express his repugnance.

I instantly smelled a rat when assorted Muslim apologists and SKY reporter Tim Marshall came on the scene and claimed the girls in the pictures and in the video were not the brides. Now he admits that he didn’t see the “real” brides either. So knowing what we know, knowing that Islam is the religion of pedophiles because “the prophet married Aiisha when she was six and consummated the marriage when she was nine”- who is right?

Why give genocidal maniacs the benefit of the doubt?

The arrogance! The Tundra Tabloids was one of the few blogs that Marshall responded to in his quest to get the story of Hamas terrorists marrying tiny tots removed from the Internet. He (Marshall) even went so far as to thank the TT for removing its post due to the uncertainty surrounding the claims that the Hamas men videoed with young girls (pre-pubescent) in wedding dresses, were in fact marrying them. The TT has now put its original post back online, but with an update telling of the added information.

After giving this seasoned foreign news journalist the benefit of the doubt, there is now more information surfacing, most notably, that Tim Marshall now admits to never having seen the REAL BRIDES supposedly being married to the terrorists marching out on the field with the little girls in white wedding dresses in tow. Also, Marshall’s refusal to divulge more on what took place at that mass marriage in Hamastan, and his digging in of the heels, is breathing more life into a story “he says” (Marshall) is over and done with. Not really Tim.

I am one of the many bloggers who received that message from Tim of Sky News. I emailed him twice asking for some verification in the form of photos or videos but never received a reply. So I decided to let the story stand as is. Also, al-Jazeera posted a different video of the wedding but there, too, no sign of age-appropriate brides, only the little girls. The AJ video is here if you haven’t seen it.

The Tundra Tabloids, as well as the rest of the blogs posting about this simply want verification of what Sky News’ Tim Marshall is claiming, is factually true. We all know that Islamic fundamentalist fanatic Hamas is capable of doing just about anything, so it’s not a stretch to believe that the initial understanding of what was being viewed on the video….was in fact a marriage of children to adult males.

A simple verification with pictures and videos of the event showing the males with adult brides shouldn’t be hard for ‘someone there’ to produce. That he now says he never saw the brides in the stands…goes further to cut into his credibility as an on-the-scene eye witness, or are we to take Hamas genocidal murderers at their word, like Tim Marshall appears willing to do? KGS

The good news: 

A new law on child marriage from the Ministry of Justice which currently has the issue under study may set the legal age of marriage at 18 while also imposing greater restrictions on persons permitted to authorize the marriage of minors.

OK, the two clauses are slightly contradictory but any way you look at it, the number of sickening marriages of pre-teens to men triple their age in Saudi Arabia would be reduced.

The bad news:

Lawyer Adnan Al-Zahrani was quoted as saying in the report that guardians – thefathers – were permitted to marry off a minor of either sex and could contract marriage for their daughters even at the age of one. Al-Zahrani said that when girls reached the age of puberty they were permitted to choose whether to accept or reject a marriage contract.

At the age of ONE???

Hmm, not really.  “The West” is pretty timid not to mention anything about Aisha who was 6 when she “married” Muhammad, a warlord in his fifties. If you call Muhammad a child-molester you might even end up in court and get a fine, along with being labeled ‘racist, bigot, Islamophobe.” You won’t find Aisha’s story in this article by DONNA ABU-NASR/Associated Press mentioned either. Why do you think that is?  Is the truth no defense?

 Of course, the whole concept of pedophilia did not exist in Muhammad’s day, but when he is taken as the supreme example of human conduct and imitated today, what results is…pedophilia. Muhammad’s consummation of his marriage with Aisha when she was nine is in the hadith collection Muslims consider most reliable, Bukhari, several times:5.48.234; 5.58.236; 7.62.64; 7.62.65; and 7.62.88.

What’s more, it is clear that Muslims take this seriously and imitate Muhammad in this. Article 1041 of the Civil Code of the Islamic Republic of Iran states that girls can be engaged before the age of nine, and married at nine: “Marriage before puberty (nine full lunar years for girls) is prohibited. Marriage contracted before reaching puberty with the permission of the guardian is valid provided that the interests of the ward are duly observed.”

It was a swap, so the father could marry the man’s sister without paying the obligatory bride-price. At age 9, the girl was put on a sack of rice to appear taller next to the bridegroom in the wedding picture. At 11, she was taken to her husband’s house to live. The statement, signed by the rector of Al-Eman University, Sheikh Abdul-Majid al-Zindani, and by representatives of the party Islamic Islah, is aimed at eliminating the minimum age limit.

The question of the minimum age for marriage in Yemen was brought to the attention of world public opinion last April, following the case of Nojud Mohammed Ali, an 8-year-old girl who requested and obtained a divorce after being forced to marry a 30-year-old man.
