The Koran, the holy book of Muslims, and Hadith (fatwas of the prophet Muhammad) contain numerous passages that are incompatible with the UN Declaration of Human Rights to which, by the way, all Muslim states have officially subscribed.

Few Islamic countries have signed up to the International Declaration of Human Rights, if they did, they probably did so with intend to deceive, because none of them adheres to it, but to the later concocted “Cairo Declaration of Human Rights” with shari’a law as “the only source of reference”- an insult to anyone’s intelligence…/ed
One might argue that the Bible and the Old Testament of both Christians and Jews also contain atrocious passages that go against human rights. (For further information, click here.) However, while Christians and Jews ignore these atrocious passages and look at them in a historical context, Muslim believers, especially radical Muslims, do not. They are convinced that both the Koran and Hadith are sacred scriptures; the word of Allah and must be followed and implemented to the letter. Suicide and car bombers are a clear case in point. Many Muslims believe that Sharia (which includes both the Koran and Hadith) must be introduced and applied all over the world as the only best law for all human beings.
Here are some examples which clearly show that Islam is diametrically opposed to universal human rights.

Anti-Islam politician Geert Wilders is hoping to use a 150-year-old law to start legal proceedings against Integration Minister Eberhard van der Laan for failing to answer the Freedom Party’s questions on the cost of immigration.

Mr Wilders’ Freedom Party asked the minister to work out the cost to the country of immigrants on an individual basis. Ministers are constitutionally obliged to honour MP’s requests for information, and Mr Van der Laan promised to provide Mr Wilders with answers. He duly provided the Freedom Party with 30 pages of raw data, but refused to translate the information into the kind of cost-benefit analysis the Freedom Party wanted. “We do not keep accounts on the value of human beings,” said Mr Van der Laan.

Speaking on Dutch breakfast television on Monday, Mr Wilders said that five Freedom Party MP’s have now written to the speaker of the Lower House calling for an investigation. The Freedom Party wants to have charges brought against the integration minister based on legislation dating from 1855, which says that ministers have to abide by the constitution and provide information.

Meanwhile, Forum, the Institute for Multicultural Development, commissioned its own study on the cost of immigration last month from economist Peter Nijkamp at the Free University in Amsterdam, in an attempt to take the wind out of the Freedom Party’s sails. Mr Nijkamp said he was amazed such data should be seen as a taboo.

Turkey’s goal is to live in peace with all countries and restore the might of the Ottoman Empire, Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said. “I believe that each Turkish family should have at least three children. We believe in Turkey’s future and call on everybody to believe,” he said. Dwelling on Turkish-Russian relations, he described them as strategic. “Russia is our partner. The trade between our countries has reached $40 billion,” Milliyet newspaper quoted Erdogan as saying.

Emily and her fellow moderators at Obama for America apparently did not consider an entry that compares Israeli Jews to Nazis as “disrespectful to our other users and detract from a welcoming community where all people can engage in positive discourse.” Here is the material that Obama for America approved for posting.

Report: Israel Knows Exactly Where Shalit Is

A report in the London-based Arabic daily ash-Sharq al-Awsat, quoting Israeli officials, says that the IDF knows “exactly” where kidnapped IDF soldier Gilad Shalit is being held, and that the location is under constant Israeli surveillance. Hamas is aware that Israel knows where Shalit is being held, the report said, quoting an Israeli source.

The reason Israel has withheld from rescuing Shalit, the report said, is because of a fear that Hamas will kill the soldier if Israel attempts to rescue him. The site where Shalit is being held is surrounded by explosives, which will be set off remotely if IDF soldiers get too close, the source said, citing the murder of another IDF captive, Nachson Wachsman, who was killed when Israeli soldiers tried to rescue him in 1994.

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s vitriolic attacks on the Jewish world hide an astonishing secret, evidence uncovered by The Daily Telegraph shows.

A photograph of the Iranian president holding up his identity card during elections in March 2008 clearly shows his family has Jewish roots.

A close-up of the document reveals he was previously known as Sabourjian – a Jewish name meaning cloth weaver. The short note scrawled on the card suggests his family changed its name to Ahmadinejad when they converted to embrace Islam after his birth.

Yesterday Nato officers were reassessing the security of hundreds of outposts scattered across Afghanistan.

“Everyone is aware of what happened in Nuristan, and checking their outposts are well protected and manned,” said Major Jason Henneke, executive officer of the 10th Mountain Division’s 2-87 Battalion in Wardak province. Major Henneke’s battalion lost two soldiers, with three wounded, late on Friday when an Afghan policeman opened fire on his American colleagues during a joint operation to clear the Taleban from villages around the Nerkh valley.
