UPDATE:Â Masjid ibn Al Khattab was an interesting choice for Holder. Al Khattab is in a rather shabby section of town. It is right across the street from the USC campus and is the place of worship for USC students who are Muslim. They may have their own gatherings on campus, but when they wish to formally attend a mosque, they attend Al Khattab. The USC student Muslim student group is one of the most radical in the state. Al Khattab is controlled largely by the Nation of Islam. It was built by Saudi Arabia – overtly – and celebrates the Saudis with murals inside the mosque.
How many shuls and and churches have senior members of BO’s adminstration visited? Just askin. This has become a venal obsession.

Atty. Gen. Eric Holder Jr. made a well-publicized visit to Los Angeles this week to announce stimulus grants to help fight drug trafficking and to help the victims of domestic violence. But in a quieter event not announced to the news media or public, Holder stopped at a mosque to meet with Muslim American youths.
“The point was to engage the Muslim community here in Los Angeles and make sure they understand this administration’s commitment to work with that community,” Justice Department spokesman Matthew Miller said.
The relationship between the Muslim American community and the department has come under increasing strain. This year, a coalition of the nation’s largest Muslim organizations issued a statement demanding that the Obama administration address FBI actions, including what they described as the “infiltration of mosques,” the use of “agent provocateurs to trap unsuspecting Muslim youth” and the “deliberate vilification” of one of the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights organizations.
Thursday’s meeting was at 4 p.m. at the Omar Ibn Al Khattab [ who massacred millions in his quest to turn the world into dar al-islam] Foundation, a mosque and community center near USC, said Dafer Dakhil, the foundation’s director. It lasted about an hour. >>>

Fourteen UNIFIL men were wounded when some 100 locals attacked them, Israel Radio reported. When the troops called for backup, the villagers fired at the reinforcements.

I just heard the news that former CBS anchorman Walter Cronkite died. And perhaps I will be one of the few with the guts to be real and say it: I’m not sad to see this overrated liar go. Buh-bye.
Cronkite enjoyed a long and glamorous life, unlike many of our late teen and 20-something American troops against whom he editorialized on a nightly basis. They died on the killing fields of Vietnam in no small part because he contributed to the video demoralization of America and the resulting lack of commitment to help our boys win the Vietnam War.
I’m sure that Cronkite will be remembered gushingly by all of the liberal mainstream media robots whom he spawned and who idolize him (and probably many gutless idiots on the right, too). In so many ways, he is their Michael Jackson, minus the creativity and talent. In life, they already exalted Cronkite far, far beyond what he deserved and completely ignored his awful transgressions against our country.
Walter Cronkite Defeated America on TVBut the man they called “The Most Trusted Man in America” was really something far different: The Most Destructive Man in America. And that is how he should be remembered. He had the blood of thousands of American men–some of them really just boys–on his hands.
