The son of Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi has organized a “humanitarian boat” to sail from Greece to the Gaza Strip in effort to break Israel’s naval blockade of the coastal territory, AFP reported on Friday.  Haaretz

Saif ul Islam (Sword of Islam) when he doesn’t support the “shadowy insurgents” in Thailand’s deep south and the Abu Sayyaf in the Philppines, also exhibits  something he calls “art,” depicting blood splattered “Palestinians” in Moscow, as we can see here

Gaddafi focuses on such opposing images as peaceful landscapes of the Libyan desert and the Islamic intifada. His art ranges from Arabian horses and tigers to portraits of his father.

The older brother of Saif ul Islam stayed one month at the Grand Excelsior hotel in Rapallo, (yours truly stayed there on many occasions, an excellent house!) only to run off without paying the bill

Al-Saadi Gaddafi has a long record of smashing hotel rooms, beating up maid servants, disfiguring his wife(s)  etc. which recently caused a diplomatic row between Switzerland and his father, the Libyan dictator. Papa Gaddafi promptly threatened Switzerland with jihad and promised to shift 5 billion dollars in stolen money to Turkey. Nobody has the guts to stand up to these rogues…….

Apologists like to give the impression that Islam is a sola scriptura affair, relying entirely on the content of the Qur’an. It makes it easier to sell unbelievers the notion of the Qur’an as uncreated, complete unto itself, and not dependent on the cultural and temporal context in which it was purportedly revealed to Muhammad.

Bid for Islamic teachings

EVERY Australian school student would be taught positive aspects about Islam and Muslims – and that Australia is a racist country – under a proposal by an education think tank.

The plan is outlined in the Learning From One Another: Bringing Muslim Perspectives into Australian Schools booklet, published during the week by the Australian Curriculum Studies Association and the University of Melbourne’s Centre for Excellence in Islamic Studies.

It says there is a “degree of prejudice and ignorance about Islam and Muslims”, and Australian students must be taught to embrace difference and diversity.

The booklet refers to the al-Qai’da of Osama bin Laden as “a famous name” synonymous with the traditionalist movement in Islam. It makes no reference to terrorism.

It says “most texts used in Australian English classes still have a Western or European perspective”.

Apologists for Islam like to quote Qur’an 2:256, which states that there is “no compulsion in religion.” There are, however, myriad forms of coercion, from the jizya tax mandated by Qur’an 9:29 to oppressive dhimma laws, and of course, outright warfare and all of its provisions for plunder, captivity, slavery, and rape (sex with captives and slaves, per Qur’an 4:24).

Holland: the political establishment is ganging up to screw Wilders with a constitutional coup d’état

In Holland, the establishment has its knickers in a twist over Geert Wilders election victory. Even the Queen is now getting in on the act to exclude him from parliament. Strange days indeed!

A Constitutional Coup in the Netherlands

Geert Wilders’ political party, the PVV (Party for Freedom) won substantial gains in last month’s elections in the Netherlands, in particular drawing support away from the Christian Democrats (CDA). If the Netherlands were a normal parliamentary democracy, post-election negotiations would have led to the inclusion of the PVV in a new government, and cabinet seats for members of the party.

But the Netherlands is not a normal parliamentary democracy, not when faced with the possibility that an “Islamophobe” like Mr. Wilders might be a member of the cabinet. If there is one thing that unites all the other Dutch political parties, it is an absolute determination that the PVV must not be included in any governing coalition. To ensure this outcome, any other configuration of parties is acceptable — what would it matter if the “conservative” VVD were to join forces with the Communists, so long as Geert Wilders would thereby be kept from gaining any seat in the government?

To create a cordon sanitaire against the PVV, the elite oligarchy that wields the real power in the Netherlands — the Queen and the three major parties — has resorted to some blatant extra-constitutional shenanigans during the procedure leading up to the formation of the new government…Read it all

His movie, Fitna, advancing this argument, is unimpeachable in its citations of Islamic scripture and in its images of Islamofascism on the march. That those who oppose him are motivated in large part by a wish to appease the purveyors of the Islamist threat is indicated by the fact that the negative responses to Wilders have focused not on rebutting his arguments but on demonizing him and using anti-democratic means to silence him. As Roger Simon suggests, they are compelled to hate Wilders because they so want to cling to their delusional denial of the threat. Perth Muslim doctor appears on sexual assault charges

A MUSLIM DOCTOR accused of sexually assaulting a woman while examining her at Royal Perth Hospital has appeared in court and had his bail extended.


Suhail Ahmad Khan Durani, 34, was not required to enter a plea when he appeared in the Perth Magistrates Court today.

It is alleged he sexually assaulted a woman while examining her at the hospital on February 20.

Mr Durani, from Morley in Perth’s northeast, has been stood down by the hospital.

A SUICIDE bomber struck outside a government office in Pakistan’s tribal belt yesterday, killing at least 65 people among a crowd waiting for aid distribution.

Yesterday’s attack also wounded at least 100 people in Yakaghund village in the Mohmand tribal region. The Pakistan Taliban claimed responsibility, according to local media reports.
