Brexit campaign leader Nigel Farage has called out billionaire open borders campaigner George Soros and his “reliable friends” for collusion on a grand scale.

Speaking in a debate on the Paradise Papers in the European Parliament, the UKIP MEP pointed out that the financier had funded the exposé.

“I say this at a time when the use of money and the influence it may have had on the Brexit result or the Trump election has reached a level of virtual hysteria,” he said.

“Just last week the Electoral Commission in the UK launched an investigation to find out whether the Leave campaign took offshore money or Russian money.

“This came about as a result of questions asked in the House of Commons by one Ben Bradshaw, somebody linked to an organisation called Open Society.

“I just wonder when we’re talking about offshore money, when we’re talking about political subversion, when we’re talking about collusion, I wonder whether we’re looking in the wrong place.

“And I say that because George Soros recently gave Open Society, his organisation, which of course campaigns for free movement of peoples and supports supranational structures like the European Union, he recently gave it 18 billion dollars.

“And his influence here, and in Brussels, is truly extraordinary.”

No matter the outcome of tomorrow’s same-sex marriage postal vote, conservatives should not accept the outcome.

In the parlance of public policy, the consideration and public debate on whether to allow same-sex marriage in Australia has been grossly flawed and mismanaged.

With any major reform to public policy, good government and experienced public policy practitioners typically seek to guide the reform effort through a robust policy development process.

Such a process often entails a thorough review of the issues under consideration, an articulation of the problem, canvassing and carefully considering all relevant policy options, anticipating any potential unintended consequences and then the selection of the option which best provides the largest net positive benefit to society.

This fundamental process to delivering robust public policy outcomes has been all but absent in the Australian SSM debate.

Our youngest Senator is right, and the Prime Minister is dangerously wrong to summarily dismiss his bill to defend freedoms once gay marriage becomes law:

Mr Turnbull has lent his support to a private member’s bill by West Australian Liberal senator Dean Smith, which is expected to be introduced tomorrow if the yes vote is successful as widely anticipated.

But conservatives are backing an alternative bill proposed by Victorian Liberal senator James Paterson, which has extensive shield laws for businesses and others opposed to gay marriage, which would override some state anti-discrimination laws.

However, Mr Turnbull rejected calls for those far-reaching carve-outs.

“I don’t believe Australians would welcome, and certainly the government does not, would not countenance making legal, discrimination that is illegal, that is unlawful today,” Mr Turnbull said.

One conservative MP said Mr Turnbull seemed to have given up on holding the leadership for the long term.

The defence of the freedom of people not to cater to same-sex weddings is relatively minor issue – in the sense that I suspect few cases would arise. More important is defending the freedom of people to argue against same-sex marriage, especially given that three preachers have already been dragged before an anti-discrimination tribunal for doing so.

For Turnbull to simply dismiss concerns about such attacks on our freedom is a mistake. He threatens us and his own leadership.

There’s a big misconception about the violence in Burma that has caused severe casualties to both Rohingya Muslims and Burmese Buddhists. Therefore it is important that a fair assessment to this issue is done to shed light on the grey areas and enlighten those who are clueless on the subject.

The burqa is a clear sign of radicalization, which is denied by most of the fake stream media.

The Rohingyas are a Muslim minority who migrated from Bangladesh and reside in Myanmar. The community procreated in large numbers within a very short period of time without any family planning and considerations to limited resources, because of which the native community in the area has became a minority and deprived of their own lands that were grabbed by increased population of Rohingyans.

According to Rohingyas, they are indigenous to Rakhine State, while the Burmese historians claim that they migrated to Burma from Bengal primarily during the period of British rule in Burma, and to a lesser extent, after the Burmese independence in 1948 and Bangladesh Liberation War in 1971.

General Ne Win’s government, in 1982, enacted the Burmese nationality law, which denied citizenship to the Rohingyas honoring the opinion of vast majority of Burmese. (96%) The decision also came as a result as the Rohingyas were rebelling the government for several decades with the support of external forces, mainly from separatists movements and extremist groups including Al Qaeda.

Sex offender will get citizenship

A SYRIAN refugee on the sex offenders register after indecent assault convictions is set to be granted Australian citizenship because a tribunal found he now understood the laws and customs of Australia.

The ruling in the Administrative Appeals Tribunal found against the government, which had refused to grant the sex offender citizenship.

Tribunal member Regina Perton said there were registered sex offenders who posed no risk of harm or reoffending and she was told the 45-year-old man now understood Australian laws and customs.

A stepfather who slammed his 12-year-old’s school for making her write a letter about ‘converting to Islam’ has been called a ‘racist bigot’ and is terrified of violent repercussions.

Mark McLachlan, 43, complained to Kepier School in Houghton-le-Spring, Sunderland when he found the homework task in his stepdaughter’s planner.

He refused to let her finish the ‘letter to my family about converting to Islam’, claiming it was ‘brainwashing’ her about the religion and did not see what it would achieve.

But since posting about it on social media he says he has received a lot of abuse.
