Ayad was trying to get a divorce from her husband, Ayad Hashim Latif. Sharia stipulates that while a man can divorce his wife simply by telling her three times that he is divorcing her, a woman has to seek the permission of Muslim clerics and make her case for a divorce before them. There is, of course, no such provision in U.S. law, but when Ayad told Latif that she was going to seek a divorce, he told her that she had signed an Islamic prenuptial agreement that stated the marriage, and any possible divorce, would proceed according to Sharia provisions.

Islamists want a theocratic state

Did you hear that right? One look, Mr. Interior Minister, at Wikipedia would have been enough not to embarrass yourself in front of the general public. Islamists are the adherents of radical Islam who want to establish a social and state order that is legitimised solely by religion. That this cannot be a Catholic or Buddhist order, but a Muslim one, will be clear to everyone – with the exception of Nehammer.

Thousands of Cubans have taken to the streets in Havana and in other cities to demand vaccines and food as the country faces a period of economic crisis brought on by the global COVID-19 pandemic. The Indian Bar Association (IBA) has filed a lawsuit against Dr Soumya Swaminathan, the Chief Scientist at the World Health Organization (WHO), for allegedly distributing false information on the use of Ivermectin to treat Covid-19.

The IBA on 25 May served Swaminathan with a court notice, alleging that she was “spreading disinformation and misguiding the people of India in order to fulfil her agenda,” and that she was “causing further damage”.

The association claimed that the WHO expert overlooked research and clinical studies from two organisations—the Front Line Covid-19 Critical Care (FLCCC) Alliance and the British Ivermectin Recommendation Development (BIRD).

These two organisations have reportedly presented substantial data demonstrating that Ivermectin prevents and treats Covid-19.
