FBI: Muslims not above the law, using informants in mosques is OK

On the one hand, the  embarrassing administration of the Muslim POTUS Obama panders to the Islamists and supports the jihad against the free world, on the other hand there is -some- resistance from unlikely quarters:

CAIR’s Hussam Ayloush, a delightful fellow with whom I have had several pleasant exchanges, said in April that mosques and the Koran were off limits to the FBI.

In other words, despite incidents such as this, and this, and this, and despite the fact that hatred and Islamic supremacism are taught in a number of mosques in the U.S., he wants law enforcement officials to turn a blind eye to the possibility of jihadist activity in mosques.

And meanwhile, Ayloush also wants to take the Koran off the table — that is, he wants no investigation of the stated motives and goals of the jihad terrorists themselves. Apparently he would prefer that we remain in the dark about them. (I refuse, and am working on a new book,The Infidel’s Guide to the Koran, which is coming in September from Regnery Publishing.)

LOS ANGELES – FBI Director Robert Mueller on Monday defended the agency’s use of informants within U.S. mosques, despite complaints from Muslim organizations that worshippers and clerics are being targeted instead of possible terrorists.Mueller’s comments came just days after a Michigan Muslim organization asked the Justice Department to investigate complaints that the FBI is asking the faithful to spy on Islamic leaders and worshippers. Similar alarm followed the disclosure earlier this year that the FBI planted a spy in Southern California mosques….

“To the extent that there may be evidence or other information of criminal wrongdoings, then we will … undertake those investigations,” Mueller added. “We will continue to do it.”…

Christian Copts of California (CCC), an organization representing expatriate Egyptians of the ancient Coptic minority, has written an urgent letter to the American leader reminding him that “reconciliation cannot be separated from reciprocation. The Islamic World must not demand from us that which they are unwilling to retune to us and to extend to their own citizens of other religious. I hope you help them understand reconciliation is a two-way street.”

OIC: Islamophobia a Clear and Present Danger to Global Peace and Security..

* Of course it is! What could be worse than resisting the Islamization of (our) infidel countries?

Muhammad said, “I have been ordered to fight against people until they say that “there is no god but Allah”, that “Muhammad is the messenger of Allah”, they pray, and pay zakat (religious taxes.)  If they do that, their lives and property are safe.”

Muslim scholar Bassam Tibi explains:

At its core, Islam is a religious mission to all humanity. Muslims are religiously obliged to disseminate the Islamic faith throughout the world.  We have sent you forth to all mankind” (Q. 34:28). If non-Muslims submit to conversion or subjugation, this call (dawa) can be pursued peacefully. If they do not, Muslims are obliged to wage war against them. In Islam, peace requires that non-Muslims submit to the call of Islam, either by converting or by accepting the status of a religious minority (dhimmi) and paying the imposed poll tax, jizya. World peace, the final stage of the dawa, is reached only with the conversion or submission of all mankind to Islam. Muslims believe that expansion through war is not aggression but a fulfilment of the Quranic command to spread Islam as a way to peace.

The resort to force to disseminate Islam is not war (harb), a word that is used only to describe the use of force by non-Muslims. Islamic wars are not hurub (the plural of harb) but rather futuhat, acts of “opening” the world to Islam and expressing Islamic jihad. Relations between dar al-Islam, the home of peace, and dar al-harb, the world of unbelievers, nevertheless take place in a state of war, according to the Quran and to the authoritative commentaries of Islamic jurists. Unbelievers who stand in the way, creating obstacles for the dawa, are blamed for this state of war, for the dawa can be pursued peacefully if others submit to it. In other words, those who resist Islam cause wars and are responsible for them. Only when Muslim power is weak is temporary truce (hudna) allowed (Islamic jurists differ on the definition of temporary).

Abu Dhabi, 30 May 2009 (WAM) –The Organisation of Islamic Countries (OIC) Observatory on Islamophobia released its Second Annual Reportcovering the period from June 2008 to April 2009 today at the commencement of the 36th Session of the Council of Foreign Ministers in Syria.

The OIC newsletter, a copy of which was received by WAM, said the report has dwelt extensively on the worrying trend of Islamophobia as a clear and present danger to global peace and security.

The Report clearly lays out the sound legal basis in terms of the international law of the OIC’s case on defamation of religions, particularly Islam, as a form of racism.

Greece: Muslim anger ignites violent new response

“Unrest in Greece’s community of Muslim immigrants is something new, analysts say. ‘For so many years, they’ve been scared and defensive,’ said Takis Geros, a lecturer of anthropology of the Middle East at Panteion University. ‘To suddenly come out in broad daylight with their faces exposed and trash 75 cars indicates a massive change in attitude.'” More on this story.

Far-right-wing vigilantes burned a makeshift mosque in Athens over the weekend after Muslim immigrants in Athens attacked police with rocks and bottles over an incident in which a policeman reportedly defaced a Koran. 

Although Greece has a history of political violence from radical leftists and anarchists, sectarian bloodletting represents an entirely modern phenomenon.

The latest incident began with a policeman who made an identification spot check on an immigrant from Iraq. When word spread that the policeman had ripped and stomped on the suspect’s Koran, things got ugly.

Chanting “God is great” and waving leather-bound copies of Islam’s holy book, about 1,000 Muslim immigrants demonstrated with a march on Parliament Friday.

When the crowd dwindled to about 300, remaining protesters began throwing rocks and bottles at police and smashing windows at a luxury hotel in central Syntagma Square, according to an account by the Associated Press.

Far-right-wing vigilantes replied over the weekend by setting fire to a Muslim prayer hall. Taken together, the incidents represent some of the worst sectarian violence witnessed in modern Greece.

A spokesman for the Greek police claimed that the policeman did not rip up a Koran, but a folded and glued sheet of paper containing unidentifiable writing in Arabic.

“The isolated and under-inquiry incident does not excuse rioting by individuals committed to damaging citizens property and seriously disturbing the citys social and economic life,” said Christos Markogiannakis, the deputy interior minister. “The state will not permit such radical behavior.”

Unrest in Greece’s community of Muslim immigrants is something new, analysts say.

Pakistan Calls on Islamic Scholars to Help Combat "Extremism"

The bad news is that there are a hell of a lot of naive, gullible Westerners who are just dying to lick it up, no matter how many these “extremists” blow up or how many heads they cut off.  Good luck with that, Schmucks! As if there was some mythical Islam that doesn’t teach terror, and Islam that doesn’t teach that Islam must dominate, that to kill and die for Allah is not an obligation for the believers, and that the sharia must not  be established in all the lands on earth in order to please the Muhammedan blood-god, ‘Allah”….

May 20 (Bloomberg) — Pakistan’s Prime MinisterYousuf Raza Gilanicalled on Islamic scholars to help root out extremism, as security forces waged an urban offensive against Taliban militants in the northwestern Swat Valley.

“Terrorists are perverting the teachings of Islam” and scholars should speak with one voice against the militants, Gilani said yesterday.

The annual report for the Protection of the Constitution revealed that active groups like ‘Milli Görüs’ want to be able to live under the strict Islamic rules.

And the secret service’s yearly report, which will be revealed today by Interior Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble, contains some other schocking [sic] warnings:

• Increasing numbers of Islamic fundamentalists – mostly second generation immigrants and radical converts – are travelling from Germany to Pakistan to visit terror camps run by al-Qaeda and other similar groups.

• German interests at home and abroad are in danger. The report reveals that Germany is an ‘immediate target’ for Islamist terror groups.

HONOLULU – Hawaii’s state Senate overwhelmingly approved a bill Wednesday to celebrate “Islam Day” — over the objections of a few lawmakers who said they didn’t want to honor a religion connected to Sept. 11, 2001.

The Senate‘s two Republicans argued that a minority of Islamic extremists have killed many innocents in terrorist attacks.

“I recall radical Islamists around the world cheering the horrors of 9/11. That is the day all civilized people of all religions should remember,” said Republican Sen. Fred Hemmings to the applause of more than 100 people gathered in the Senate to oppose a separate issue — same-sex civil unions.

  • Saturday night in spring 2009, in a quiet corner of the Marais. Sounds of tumult and smashing. A pause. An ominous silence. Then, the first explosion. Gunshots? Gas? It’s on the rue des Arquebusiers. A fire engine pulls up, the firefighters jump out, ready for action. They’re stymied. They run in circles, shouting to each other like helpless civilians. Cars are burning in the narrow side street and they can’t get near the roaring inferno. Seven cars in a row, popping like huge champagne corks. It takes an eternity before a bigger engine arrives. It has a huge hose but it’s hours before the last flames are extinguished. 
  • Torched cars are a familiar sight on the French landscape. Tens of thousands are burnt out every year. But this isn’t video footage on the evening news. It’s not the banlieue in 2005. It’s very close and extremely scary.
