Mayor Boris Johnson has given at least £30,000 of taxpayers’ money to an organisation co-controlled by an Islamist “extremist”, the Standard can reveal.

Azad Ali praises a spiritual leader of al Qaeda on his blog, denies the Mumbai attacks were “terrorism” and quotes, apparently approvingly, a statement advocating the killing of British troops in Iraq.

He also criticises those Muslims who “tell people that Islam is a religion of peace”.

He describes non-Muslims as “sinners” and says Muslims should “hate [non-Muslims’] disbelieving actions”.

Mr Ali is the founding chairman, and current treasurer, of the Muslim Safety Forum, a group that has received at least £30,000 from City Hall since Mr Johnson’s election last May.

LORD Ahmed – the South Yorkshire peer who sent and received text messages on the motorway minutes before a fatal crash – is free from prison today after serving just 16 days of a 12-week sentence for dangerous driving.

It was a gross miscarriage of justice that Nazi Ahmed received 12 weeks for killing a man.

Update from  Tundra Tabloids:

It’s only a handful of Muslims that turned out to jeer and hurl abusive pejoratives at the troops parading before the cheering British crowds, so one would assume that speaks well of the Muslim community as a whole …right?

One would then be forced to ask why wasn’t the Muslim community in Luton present in celebrating with the rest of the townsfolk, the return of these British troops who risked their lives to defend their fellow co-religionists? Without a doubt the media would be interviewing these loyal Muslims waving and cheering the troops on, as signs that fundamentalist Muslims do not speak for the entire community.

But guess what?

 

Only headbangers showed up!

The local Muslim leaders can’t say that they didn’t know about the parade, or that keeping a low profile was the best course of action. The best signal that they could have given, was for them (Muslim religious and civil leaders) to stand with the rest of the crowd and cheer the troops on, regardless of what the rest of their community chose to do. But instead, this disloyal rabble was allowed to present their fundamentalist message …unapposed by the leaders in the Muslim community.

A Muslim preacher of hate today ridiculed British soldiers who were abused during a homecoming parade – branding them cowards who have an ‘uncanny knack for death by friendly fire’.

Firebrand preacher Anjem Choudary praised the Muslims who had protested at yesterday’s parade for the 2nd Battalion Royal Anglian Regiment in Luton.

And in an inflammatory message posted on an Islamic extremist website, Choudary viciously mocked their comrade who was killed by friendly fire in Iraq.

His words came as police charged a man who allegedly shouted abuse at the Muslim anti-war protesters.

JADE Goody will go to hell because she is a Christian, Muslim fanatics insisted last night.

The warped internet claim by followers of hate preacher Omar Bakri followed dying Jade’s decision to be baptised.

The ceremony was carried out at the weekend in London’s Royal Marsden Hospital for Jade, 27, and her young sons Bobby and Freddie.

Jade lost her hair as a result of the chemotherapy she received to try to stop her cancer spreading.

But extremists who support Bakri and al-Qaeda launched a furious attack on the star on a website operated by a banned group which backs the preacher, who is now based in the Lebanon.

A homecoming march by British troops returning from Iraq was today marred by ugly scenes as Muslim anti-war protesters hurled abuse at the parading soldiers.

Around 20 men in Islamic dress yelled ‘terrorists’ and held placards denouncing the soldiers as ‘butchers of Basra’ and ‘baby killers’ as they marched through Luton in Bedfordshire.

Other signs described the 200 men and women from the 2nd Battalion The Royal Anglian Regiment as ‘Criminals, Murderers Terrorists’.

The atmosphere further deteriorated when locals waving St George’s flags turned on the protesting group chanting ‘Scum’ and ‘No surrender to the Taliban’ .

“ We are giving you now 100 vehicles and all of their contents, and we make no apology for what I am about to say. We are giving them to the elected government of Palestine,” Galloway said at a press conference in Gaza City.

Galloway said he personally would be donating three cars and 25,000 pounds (35,000 dollars) to Hamas prime minister Ismail Haniya as he dared the West to try to prosecute him for aiding what it considers a terror group.

“I say now to the British and European governments, if you want to take me to court I promise you there is no jury in all of Britain who will convict me. They will convict you.”

Four members of a British terrorist cell were jailed yesterday for supplying terrorists fighting in Afghanistan with equipment bought with dole money and donations given to help earthquake victims. 

They sent out laser range-finders, night sights, blank DVDs for suicide bombers to record their wills  -  and even balaclavas from Lidl. 

Mohammed Nadim, 29, was sentenced to three years and Shahid Ali, 34, and Shabir Mohammed, 30, each received two years and four months.

Could it be that Javid Iqbal is merely trying to stir up resentment among Muslims toward the British authorities, once again deflect attention away from Islamic terrorist activity by portraying Muslims as victims, and divert attention away also from his miserable performance as a police officer? Now, it would be “Islamophobic” to suspect any of that, of course, but couldn’t Javid Iqbal have taken the taunts with patience and shown up his tormentors by doing a good job? Why was that option out of the question?

Though he boasted that he beat the vagrant “good and proper.” Apparently this officer let the Muslim injunction to always “enjoin the right and forbid the wrong” — which can easily involve beating, whipping, and killing those who transgress Islam’s rules for society — get the best of him. Hard to blame him, though, since sharia law has been granted such a prominent place in the UK.
