 No other European party is forced to dance the “We’re-not-Nazis” two-step every day of the week. Only Vlaams Belang.

Johnson has not only smeared DeWinter, but, also, fence sitter on this, Robert Spencer and top notch scholars such as Andrew Bostom, M.D

Well, the Bush administration has finally reconciled itself to the reality that there will be no lasting Mideast peace agreement on its watch — and I find myself relieved. Secretary of State Rice is making her final visit to the region before leaving office, meeting with various and sundry involved parties, but says there will be no deal by the end of the year — and, presumably, by the end of the Bush administration on January 20.
As I said, I find myself relieved.

* Update: the Board of the Mosque published a response to the article in the Toronto Star on its website, but refused to meet for an interview. The board accuses the Toronto Star of “intimidation” and of “harming the image of Somali Muslims in Canada”. Grievance theater as always: “we are preparing ourselves for the inevitable backlash of hatred and threats that will come with the suggestion that we support radical Islam and that we are therefore terrorists. While we have become accustom to this form of racism, we never get used to it and it is very harmful to our people.  We will reserve judgment on your article until after it is published and we are hopeful that it is accurate, fair and balanced.
