Why doesn't anyone talk about the Turkish occupation of northern Cyprus?

The  Turkish occupation of northern Cyprus is an ongoing scandal, a tragedy and a foreboding of things to come in EUrabia. WoJ  reported about Cyprus here on several occasions, most recently here: Turkey loves to occupy Cyprus

Islam demands that all land that used to belong to Muslims must be returned to them. Thus, Spain, for example, must eventually be re-conquered.

But nothing and no one stands up to the Turkish invaders and calls them on their crime.  Instead, enlightened progressives like Britain’s David Miliband,  have become useful idiots for Islamic Turkey:  UK’s dumbest Jew shills for Islamic Turkey in the EU

If that doesn’t pacify them, what will?

This week marks thirty-five years of the Turkish occupation and ethnic cleansing of northern Cyprus. People have been driven out of their homes, churches have been converted into mosques, and the thriving resort of Famagusta transformed into a ghost town. Nobody cares. Instead, the trumped-up plight of the “Palestinians,” an invented nationality committed to the eradication of a sovereign state in the name of Islamic jihad, occupies the world’s attention.

On 15 July 1974 the ruling military junta of Greece staged a coup to overthrow the democratically elected Government of Cyprus.On 20 July Turkey, using the coup as a pretext, invaded Cyprus, purportedly to restore constitutional order. Instead, it seized 35% of the territory of Cyprus in the north, an act universally condemned as a gross infringement of international law and the UN Charter. Turkey, only 75 km away, had repeatedly claimed, for decades before the invasion and frequently afterwards, that Cyprus was of vital strategic importance to it. Ankara has defied a host of UN resolutions demanding the withdrawal of its occupation troops from the island.

It’s curious that the sacred text of only one of the two faiths behind the exhibition was available for defacing:

A publicly funded exhibition is encouraging people to deface the Bible in the name of art — and visitors have responded with abuse and obscenity. The show includes a video of a woman ripping pages from the Bible and stuffing them into her bra, knickers and mouth.

The open Bible is a central part of Made in God’s Image, an exhibition at the Gallery of Modern Art (Goma) in Glasgow. By the book is a container of pens and a notice saying: “If you feel you have been excluded from the Bible, please write your way back into it.” … The exhibition has been created by the artists Anthony Schrag and David Malone, in association with organisations representing gay Christians and Muslims.

So why did these brave gays not also offer a Koran for scribbling critiques? It’s not as if gays couldn’t have a bone to pick with the faith that inspires some regimes to do this to young men just like them:

Think about it, Muslims, Leftists and other apologists for Islam like to draw an equivelence between Islam and Christianity, in that both have an equal propensity to incite its followers to commit acts of violence. But when push comes to shove, the default religion to mock and deface…is both Christianity and Judaism.

The Tundra Tabloids is reminded of a verbal exchange in the 2004 documentary “Jenin: Massacring Truth”. Britain’s Political Cartoon Society director, Tim Benson and the documentarist, Martin Himel, discussing the award winning cartoon of Ariel Sharon eating an Arab baby.

Himel: “Why, in all these [British cartoons], don’t we see maybe [Yasser] Arafat eating babies?”
Benson: “Maybe Jews don’t issue fatwas.”
Himel: “What do you mean by that?”
Benson: “Well, if you upset an Islamic or Muslim group, as you know, fatwas can be issued by Ayatollahs and such-like. And maybe it’s at the back of each cartoonist’s mind that they could be in trouble if they do so.”

That was, and still is, an astute observation, even for many of us that deal with these issues on a day to day basis, but even more so for those who are completely ignorant of the vast differences between other faiths and the Islamic death cult. The police officer at the center of a national racial firestorm triggered by President Barack Obama told an interviewer Thursday that he had nothing to apologize for in the arrest of a black Harvard scholar, and that the president he didn’t vote for should have more carefully considered his words.

A WOMAN wearing a Muslim headscarf was told by a Sydney bus driver to take off her “mask” because it was against the law to wear it on board. Australian-born mother of two Khadijah Ouararhni-Grech was wearing the pink floral headscarf known as a niqab when she tried to board the HillsBus vehicle at Merrylands Rd, Greystanes.           

“As I was stepping on to the bus, the driver said: ‘You can’t get on the bus wearing your mask’,” Ms Ouararhni-Grech told The Daily Telegraph

“I was just going to visit my mum. I was born here in Parramatta. I’m Maltese and I’m Muslim because I choose to be Muslim. 

* As a Maltese she should know the history of Malta. It is disgraceful that this female, a child of Malta, Malta which resisted the Muhammedan conquest for more than a millenium, voluntarily submits to slave status and  Islamic misogyny. Ms Ouararhni-Grech said she wanted the bus company to improve driver education, rather than punish the driver. “I’d just like to change his attitude, I just want him to be educated on the subject,” she said.

“I’d be more than happy to go to the company with my sheikh and educate these people about what this exactly is and our beliefs and the reason why.

In January, 2006, Hamas — an Islamist party with a military wing that is branded as a terrorist group by much of the West — won one of the freest and fairest elections ever conducted in the Middle East. In doing so, Hamas became the legally and duly chosen representative of the Palestinian people, an inescapable player in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and also, necessarily, a factor in any peace process.

Despite apocalyptic and unequivocally anti-Semitic statements contained in its 1988 Charter, the organization has indicated an increasingly clear willingness to coexist with Israel for the foreseeable future, acknowledging it as an established fact in the region. This week, for instance, Hamas leader Khaled Meshaal reportedly told a Russian diplomat he would not “stand in the way” of a peace agreement between Israel and the Palestinian Authority, with the condition that it be approved in a Palestinian referendum.

Despite similar previous pronouncements, the United States and Israel have avoided formulating a realistic policy towards Hamas, based primarily on three non-negotiable demands: that Hamas recognize Israel, renounce violence, and accept previous agreements between Israel and the Palestinian Authority. Hamas has expressed willingness to enter into truces and to recognize or respect previous understandings. But it has unequivocally rejected the first demand. The United States has insisted that it will not deal with Hamas until all three are fully accepted.

A question we on WoJ have asked many times. Long overdue. Don’t expect that our “global warming” polit-props will touch it anytime soon. But it will not go away:

Geert Wilders’ anti-immigration party PVV has asked a number of government ministers to calculate exactly how much non-western immigrants cost Dutch society, Trouw reports on Wednesday.

The finance, social affairs, health, housing, education, economic affairs and defence ministries have all been asked by PVV MP Sietse Fritsma to calculate how much immigrants cost their departments and how much they contribute in terms of taxes.

‘The core of Fritsma’s questions is: The Hague spends relatively more on non-western immigrants and gets little back,‘ Trouw states.

The paper says Fritsma has asked the tax office to calculate how much non-western immigrants pay in taxes compared with the native Dutch. The education ministry has been asked how much it spends on catching ethnic minority truants.

And the health ministry has been asked to say how much more money it spends on non-westerners because they are more likely to visit the doctor.

The party has asked for the calculations to be based on government spending over the past five years with a forecast for the next five.

Trouw says it is unclear if individual ministries will cooperate with the PVV’s requests or whether ministers will prepare a joint statement.

Add to this the enormous cost for Islamic crime, rape, counseling, monitoring,  added security efforts for airports, synagogues, churches, anti-terrorism measures, prisons, subsidies for mosques and madrassas,  and you’ll find that the Islamic invasion is not only  financially a bottomless pit, but more than anything detrimental to our way of life.  All of which has a devastating effect on our  freedom and puts the future of our civilization in doubt.

José Manuel Barroso’s smile has become thin and helpless. From time to time, he loses his habitual fixed smile, and a gray veil seems to descend over his tanned face.

These are tough times for the Portuguese president of the European Commission. And walking into the newly elected European Parliament in Strasbourg last Wednesday was a particularly difficult experience.

It was the day Barroso was expected to be re-elected to another five-year term as head of the Brussels headquarters of the European Union. That, at least, was what was called for in the script that had been written at the last meeting of the EU heads of state and government. But parliament played hard-to-get, as Green Party members and Social Democrats decided to delay the vote.
