Religious and community leaders in Sydney are rallying behind an Iranian sheikh who will be deported from Australia in a fortnight.
Sheikh Mansour Leghaei has lived in Australia for the past 16 years but was prevented from gaining a permanent visa after being declared a security threat by intelligence agency ASIO.
The sheikh’s supporters say he is a peace maker and has been building bridges between Islam and Christianity for more than a decade.

That’s how it works: you set up a commission to deal with crimes of thought and stack it with lefties. You hand them the power to go after anyone for any reason. As a “safeguard”, you require the commission to prosecute its case through the courts. You then stack the courts with the same left-wing activists you appointed to the commission.
Plenty of precedent in the Soviet Union, North Korea, Kampuchea, Saddam’s Iraq, China, Myanmar, East Germany, Romania, Cuba …

Dozens of bodies lined the dusty streets of three Christian villages in northern Nigeria yesterday. Other victims of Sunday morning’s Muslim rampage were jammed into a local morgue, the limbs of slaughtered children tangled in a grotesque mess.
One toddler appeared fixed in the protective but hopeless embrace of an older child, possibly his brother. Another had been scalped. Most had severed hands and feet.
Officials estimate that 500 people were massacred in night-time raids by Muslim gangs near Jos, the city that bestrides Nigeria’s Christian-Muslim fault line.

NAIT: ‘It is the duty of Islam to fight him until he is killed’
The custodian of most of the major mosques in America acts as a front for the radical Muslim Brotherhood in America, and publishes and distributes Islamic literature that exhorts Muslims to “kill” any Westerners who get in the way of spreading Islam, WND has learned.
“No political system or material power should put hindrances in the way of preaching Islam. If someone does this, then it is the duty of Islam to fight him until either he is killed or until he declares his submission,” asserts an Islamic publication distributed by the North American Islamic Trust.
NAIT holds title to more than 300 mosques in America – including the large Islamic center outside Washington where the Fort Hood terrorist and some of the 9/11 hijackers worshipped.
NAIT also owns and controls the mosque in Orange County, Calif., that converted al-Qaida spokesman Adam Gadahn to Islam.
Gadahn in a video released Sunday exhorted Muslims serving in the U.S. military to follow in the footsteps of accused Fort Hood terrorist Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan. He also called for attacks on mass transportation, along with assassinations or kidnappings of key figures in the government, industry and media.

The Justice Department recently blacklisted NAIT as an unindicted co-conspirator in a scheme to funnel millions of dollars to Palestinian terrorists.
NAIT Trustee Gaddoor Saidi was individually listed as an unindicted co-conspirator, as well, in the Holy Land Foundation case — the largest terror finance trial in U.S. history, which ended in guilty verdicts on all 108 counts.
In addition, the government identified NAIT as a front for Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood in America. Hamas, which was designated a terrorist organization in 1995, has murdered 17 Americans and injured hundreds of other U.S. citizens.

In Paris, sixty activists of Ni Putes ni Soumises made an early start on International Women’s Day by marching with liberty caps in the place de la République, and then symbolically covering the statue there with a giant burka (picture here), later removed by the police. Before the rise of Islam, the Middle East had a wide range of religions and cultures. So much so that it is difficult to imagine the world today without the ideas and beliefs that emerged from there. Today however the Middle East has one dominant religion and one nationality. While there may be numerous countries, they all compromise an Arab Muslim Empire that extends from North Africa to the Gulf. An Empire that with the exception of Israel and Iran consists of one race and one religion, with all others either exterminated or subjugated as second class citizens.

Of course.
Mohammedans are religiously obliged to replace infidel law, “man-made” law,  with the 7th century barbarism of Muhammad. That’s why Mohammedans are, and always will be, a fifth column, behind what they perceive to be enemy lines, in lands  that are not yet conquered by the soldiers of Allah.
Looks like Keysar & his ilk haven’t got the message yet: those who want “sharia law” have no place in Australia and should ship out, said former treasurer Peter Costello. It seems that the reign of his KRuddness has brought new hopen’change to Australia’s headbangers, and a damper is overdue.  Unlikely though, that this government of bumbling do-gooders  will  do what needs to be done anytime soon.

But personal aspects of the law, particularly those involving marriage and inheritance, would be broadly supported and would offer great help to ordinary Australian Muslims, he said.

Turkish Police Accost Sabbath Worshipers in Synagogue hat tip Kenny Solomon(IsraelNN.com)Â A Turkish newspaper reports that police burst into an Istanbul synagogue during recent Sabbath services and demanded worshipers’ ID’s.
The Turkish Milliyet newspaper reported that the Muslim government in Turkey appears to be cracking down on non-Muslim minorities. The individual communities are not being permitted to have their own leaders; one person will be recognized by the government to represent all the minorities as one. As the Christian community outnumbers the Jewish one, it is expected that a Christian will serve as “Chief Rabbi.”
In addition, Christian and Jewish children are being placed in separate non-Muslim public school classes. In Jewish schools, only Turkish citizens are allowed to be registered – preventing the son of a Jewish United States consul worker from studying in a Jewish school.
Finally, Turkish authorities raided the Hemdat Yisrael synagogue in Istanbul one Sabbath morning, the most crowded day of the week, and demanded that worshipers produce identification and proof of residence. Most worshipers did not have the required papers because of Sabbath restrictions, but were allowed to produce them at the conclusion of the Sabbath.
Leaders of several minority religious communities convened for an emergency meeting last month to discuss the worsening situation.
