FORT WORTH — Brigitte Gabriel bounced to the stage at a Tea Party convention last fall. She greeted the crowd with a loud Texas “Yee-HAW,” then launched into the same gripping personal story she has told in hundreds of churches, synagogues and conference rooms across the United States:
As a child growing up a Maronite Christian in war-torn southern Lebanon in the 1970s, Ms. Gabriel said, she had been left lying injured in rubble after Muslims mercilessly bombed her village. She found refuge in Israel and then moved to the United States, only to find that the Islamic radicals who had terrorized her in Lebanon, she said, were now bent on taking over America.
“America has been infiltrated on all levels by radicals who wish to harm America,” she said. “They have infiltrated us at the C.I.A., at the F.B.I., at the Pentagon, at the State Department. They are being radicalized in radical mosques in our cities and communities within the United States.”
Through her books, media appearances and speeches, and her organization, ACT! for America, Ms. Gabriel has become one of the most visible personalities on a circuit of self-appointed terrorism detectors who warn that Muslims pose an enormous danger within United States borders.
She has moved to Corlette, on the state’s North Coast, and is running as part of a group of 16 independents in the March 26 poll.
New South Wales Premier, Kristina Keneally, says Labor will not direct preferences to Ms Hanson under any circumstances.
Ms Keneally says her party condemns Ms Hanson’s divisive approach.
“We completely condemn the sort of racist policies that she promotes,” she said.

This sting site was the front for a ruse to see if NPR was jihadist-sympathizing. They didn’t just take the bait, they surprised even the most jaded among us.
In this video from Project Veritas, Ron Schiller, NPR Foundation’s senior VP for development, laments the lack of “educated elites,” says the Republican Party has been hijacked by Tea Partiers who are a “weird Evangelical kind of move [sic],” and talks about “Islamophobia,” xenophobia, and the need for more Muslim voices in the media.
What kind of voices? He does not raise an eyebrow when the reporters say they are with the Muslim Brotherhood (they say they are looking to contribute $5 million to public media), he does not protest when one discusses the importance of giving the views of Hamas and Hizballah alongside that of Israel, and he is sympathetic when the reporters discuss “Zionist” bias in the media.
And Schiller says that, in the interest of independence, “it is very clear that we would be better off in the long run without federal funding,” and that NPR only gets a small portion of its funding from the government anyway.
Watch, watch again, and tell a friend. Schiller’s wish may yet come true.
Turns out he wants to get Israelis and Palestinians to “unite” against Iran.

Simbarashe Mumbengegwi, Zimbabwe’s foreign minister, said the sanctions — which prohibit member states from providing Iran with raw materials that it could use to make a nuclear weapon — were unfair and hypocritical.
He said that Zimbabwe, which is also the subject of sanctions over human rights abuses perpetrated by President Robert Mugabe’s supporters, would benefit economically from the agreement.
A leaked intelligence report suggests Iran will be awarded with exclusive access to Zimbabwe’s uranium in return for providing the country with fuel.
Those sanctions work wonders, don’t they? No wonder moonbats prefer them to the credible threat of force.

THE Federal Government has announced it will introduce a tax on breathing out after scientific studies found humans were emitting carbon and destroying the planet.
Prime Minister Julia Gizzard said it was hoped the tax would discourage excessive breathing out and persuade people to adopt more sustainable respiratory habits.
“At this stage we don’t intend to tax breathing in, but we may ultimately have to adopt a user-pays approach to oxygen to help save forests and anything else that produces air,” she said.
