Al Jizz goes there: “Sri Lanka Muslims fear backlash after blasts”

There you have it. The ‘backlash’ that never comes. Even after Mohammedan savages murder hundreds of Christians on their high holidays.

Members of the community say they feel vulnerable in the wake of the church and hotel attacks that left 359 people dead.

Quick, get a box of Kleenex! Did anyone blame the Jews yet?

The Islamic terror attack in Sri Lanka was among the top five deadliest terror attacks since 9/11 yet in just three short days, the media has already moved on. When Muslims are targeted, they want gun bans & political censorship, when Christians are targeted, total indifference.

Sri Lankan authorities locked down the central bank and the road leading to the jittery capital’s airport was shut briefly following a bomb scare on Thursday as more people were arrested in connection with Easter Sunday bombings that killed 359 people.

Two bank officials told Reuters news agency the street outside the building near the World Trade Center in the capital, Colombo, was blocked to traffic before the security alert was lifted.

Underscoring the nervous atmosphere in the Indian Ocean nation, authorities also shut the entry road to Colombo’s main airport after a suspicious vehicle was identified at a nearby car park. The road was reopened when the alert was declared a false alarm.

Most objective American historians who have studied the question unequivocally agree that it was a deliberate, calculated genocide.

One of the warped Sri Lankan suicide bombers studied at a UK university branded a ‘hotbed for extremism’

ONE of the warped Sri Lankan suicide bombers studied at a UK university sensationally branded a hotbed for extremism by David Cameron.

“Hotbed for extremism” is a euphemism for “Koranimal infested”.

Abdul Lathief Jameel Mohamed studied aerospace engineering at Kingston University between 2006 and 2007, according to The Daily Telegraph.

UK-educated Sri Lanka suicide bomber BOTCHED his attack when his vest failed to explode at busy five-star hotel – forcing him to target tiny guesthouse instead killing just one other person

  • Abdul Lathief Jameel Mohamed failed to detonate device at Taj Samudra hotel
  • It malfunctioned and went off at a small guest house, sparing dozens of lives
  • Security expert says Mohamed may have been radicalised at a British university
  • The number of confirmed dead in the Easter Sunday attacks has risen to 359
  • It is believed that there were nine suicide bombers, eight have been identified

The Easter Sunday terrorist who studied in Britain is believed to have botched his attempt to detonate his bomb at a five-star hotel in the Sri Lankan capital Colombo.

Police are investigating whether Abdul Lathief Jameel Mohamed’s backpack failed to explode after he tried to leave it at the luxury Taj Samudra hotel, where he had checked in the day before.

He is thought to have blown himself up by accident at a much smaller guest house – the Tropical Inn in the suburb of Dehiwala – two hours after the co-ordinated blasts across Sri Lanka, a police source told Mail Online.

Mohamed is believed to have been trying to examine his bomb’s malfunctioning mechanism. The bomb then exploded, killing him and one other person.

Sri Lanka: ‘major lapse’ in intelligence sharing, attacks ‘could have been avoided’

Bombings intelligence row exposes tension in Sri Lanka government

Defence minister says there was a ‘major lapse’ in intelligence sharing and attacks ‘could have been avoided’.

Heads should roll:

Sri Lanka – Nearly four days after churches and hotels in Sri Lanka were attacked in a series of suicide bombings that left at least 359 people dead, the government is facing mounting criticism over its failure to act on detailed warnings that an attack was imminent.

There was intelligence revealing that the Islamic State had taken National Towheeth Jama’ath under its wing and trained 34 members three years ago.

“Some top intelligence officials hid the intelligence information purposefully. Information was there, but the top brass security officials did not take appropriate actions.”

Sri Lanka Fires Security Heads After Defense Secretary Says ‘Impossible’ to Protect Churches

Sri Lanka Defense Secretary: ‘Impossible’ to Protect Churches

Sri Lanka’s President Maithripala Sirisena announced Tuesday he would fire the heads of all security, police, and defense agencies in the country following the devastating jihadist attack on Easter Sunday that has now killed 359 people, mostly Christians.

Suicide bombers, allegedly affiliated to the local jihadist group National Towheeth Jama’ath, targeted three churches and three hotels known to attract Westerners during Easter religious services and brunch meals, respectively. The presence of large crowds in all the locations, most in or near the capital of Colombo, resulted in a large number of casualties. The Islamic State jihadist organization took responsibility for the attack on Tuesday, publishing photos of individuals they claim organized and executed the attack.

In a nationally televised address, Sirisena vowed “major changes in the leadership of the security forces” and an overhaul in their structure within 24 hours. He accused the nation’s defense and intelligence leaders of being aware of a jihadist threat on Easter and not telling him, making it impossible for his administration to properly respond to it. Sri Lanka considers burqa ban following Easter jihad bombings

They need a lot more than a burqa ban. But lets see how far they get with this one.

In response to the jihadist bombings in Sri Lanka, the country is now considering banning the burqa “after police found several women suspected of having aided the Easter terror attacks were wearing burqas.” Western Leftists have been too busy screaming “Islamophobia” and “racism” to notice that many countries have banned the burqa for security reasons.

Pregnant wife of Sri Lanka bomber detonates suicide vest, killing children

Arrests, interrogations and controlled detonations are still continuing around Sri Lanka, with authorities saying they also plan to beef up security around airports and for airlines.

‘Blood brothers’

Two brothers at the centre of the plot were the sons of a wealthy spice merchant, and their sprawling white house is one of the most ostentatious in the suburb where they lived.

Inside factory where Sri Lanka jihadists plotted to slaughter Christians: ‘Mother of Satan’ explosive used in attacks ‘were made in workshop owned by one of the suicide bombers’

  • The bombs are thought to have been made in a copper factory in Wellampitiya, a suburb of Colombo
  • It was owned by businessman and father-of-four Inshaf Ahamad, who blew himself up at a hotel on Sunday
  • Police raided the copper factory last night and took nine suspects – including the manager – into custody
  • At least 290 360 people were killed and 500 wounded after eight explosions hit hotels and churches

Sunday’s bombings targeting churches and high-end hotels are among the deadliest such attacks worldwide since the 2001 strikes on the United States.

The Sri Lankan government on Tuesday blamed the little-known National Thowheeth Jama’ath (NTJ) Islamist group for the blasts, saying they were carried out in retaliation for last month’s attacks on two mosques in New Zealand. (That’s  debunked as humbug.)

The presidency cited intelligence saying “international terror groups” were backing Sri Lankan extremists.

Police sources told AFP Tuesday that two Muslim brothers — sons of a wealthy Colombo spice trader — were among the perpetrators of the attacks.

They blew themselves up as guests queued for breakfast at the Shangri-La and Cinnamon Grand hotels in the capital, the source said.

The pair were key members of the NTJ, which the government has previously blamed for defacing Buddhist statues, according to an investigation officer.

The IS statement on Tuesday said three fighters it named as Abu Obeidah, Abu Baraa and Abu Moukhtar were behind the attacks on the Shangri-La, Cinnamon Grand and Kingsbury hotels.

Three other fighters it named as Abu Hamza, Abu Khalil and Abu Mohammad carried out attacks on churches in the cities of Colombo, Negombo, and Batticaloa, it said.

The seventh fighter, Abu Abdallah, killed three police officers in an attack in a Colombo suburb, it said.

One of the suicide bombers in the Easter Sunday terror attacks in Sri Lanka studied in the UK and Australia, it emerged today.

The country’s Deputy Defence Minister Ruwan Wijewardene did not name the terrorist, or which university or college he attended.

But he did say the attackers were all middle or upper class, well educated, from financially stable families, and that many of them had higher education.

The revelation that one of the terrorists studied in Britain sparked fears that he could have been radicalised at a university here.

Eight British nationals died when suicide bombers targeted churches and hotels, and the number of confirmed dead had risen to 359.

Security expert Professor Anthony Glees also suggested MI5 will know the identity of the bomber with the British link.

Greece: A “No-Go” Zone in Athens?

  • “[T]he neighborhood has… platoons, companies, battalions, Kalashnikovs. I don’t know any more if we, as a police force, have the political mandate to clear the area. • In Exarchia, these groups — which conduct criminal activities and terrorize local residents — have, in effect, created a “no-go zone,” where even police are afraid to enter.

According to Stavros Balaskas, vice president of the Greek Federation of Police Officers, anarchist gangs in the Athens neighborhood of Exarchia have “platoons, companies, battalions, Kalashnikovs. I don’t know any more if we, as a police force, have the political mandate to clear the area. An assault on members of the Hellenic Coast Guard during a drug raid in Athens on April 4 highlights a growing problem in Greece. Some opponents of the far-left Syriza-led government attribute the increasing drug traffic in the country to a dangerous alliance between political anarchists and illegal immigrants. The anarchists might be considered the Greek equivalent of the “far left”. According to Reuters:

“Many self-proclaimed anarchists – the word stems from the Greek ‘anarchia’ or absence of authority – say they are pacifist, but certain groups have few qualms about using violence. Six years of recession have fuelled a new wave of left-wing militancy, according to officials, anarchists and court testimony.”

No, the Sri Lanka Mass-Murder of Christians Was Not “retaliation for Christchurch”

As the death toll from the Easter bombings in Sri Lanka rose to 321, the Islamic State group claimed responsibility and released images that purported to show the attackers, while the country’s prime minister warned that several suspects armed with explosives are still at large.

Another top government official said the suicide bombings at the churches, hotels and other sites were carried out by Islamic fundamentalists in apparent retaliation for the New Zealand mosque massacres last month that a white supremacist has been charged with carrying out.

The Sri Lanka attacks were planned long before Christchurch.
