A man who beat his girlfriend to death over a four-hour period on the night of her birthday because she “dented his pride” has been jailed for life.

Zahir Ahmed, of Selbourne Road, Luton, Bedfordshire, had denied murdering Klara Prokopcova, 26, in November 2007.

Ahmed, 34, attacked Miss Prokopcova in taxis and various locations before dialling 999, but she died in hospital, Luton Crown Court heard.

He was convicted of murder and ordered to serve at least 21 years in prison.

Ahmed, a married doorman with a five-year-old son, was having an affair with Miss Prokopcova, the court heard.

Judge John Bevan QC:

“ Your treatment of her was despicable and abhorrent. You are a bully and a coward and treat women with contempt ”

He denied intending to kill her and said he thought she would recover from injuries he inflicted that night, the court heard.

Miss Prokopcova died on 11 November 2007 after celebrating her birthday at Cubes nightclub in Dunstable.

Shifa Patel, a 28-year-old secretary, was accused of hiding her masculinity beneath a traditional headscarf and robes.

EU judges today rode roughshod over the British Government and United Nations by unfreezing the assets of Al-Qaeda ambassador Abu Qatada.

The verdict by the EU’s Court of First Instance paves the way for the fanatic to receive a hugely controversial compensation payout awarded against the British taxpayer earlier this year.

Qatada – named in court as Omar Mohammed Othman – was placed on a list of terrorist suspects whose money and other assets in Europe are blocked in the wake of 9/11.

In what can only be described as the ultimate in charity and Christian valuesa Bradford mother is asking for there to be no retailiation on muslims for the brutal beating and murder of her son.

*  Perhaps she is more worried being called a “racist”-  like this traumatized girl here who thinks racism is worse than being pack-raped by a bunch of Muselmaniacs…

“But his mother Christina Baxter said she fears people in Shadsworth, where her son lived, are intent on taking the law into their own hands. “……..“That is the last thing I want to happen. I do not want any other family to have to go through what me and my family had suffered this week. ”

Police state that the murder was not racially motivated – yet the facts seem to point to the opposite – Street Jihad. Likely the police are covering up the truth as this is not Blackburns first “taste” -of often baseball bat wiedling- Street Jihad –see here 

The latest victim, Christopher Folkes, 35, was described as a slight, timid man who would not seek any type of confrontation. He was walking in Queen’s Park, Blackburn on his way to see his mother who was suffering from intense arthritis pain and could not pick him up for his weekly visit. Sadly, the grieving Mum feels guilty about this – thinking that had she done so her son would still be alive. LINK

BBC apologises to MCB over Charles Moore’s slurs

The BBC has offered £30,000 and an apology to the Muslim Council of Britain after airing accusations that it encouraged the killing of British troops.

The corporation offered the settlement after a Question Time panellist accused the council of failing to condemn attacks on British soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan. Charles Moore, a former editor of The Daily Telegraph, made the comments on the programme in March during a debate about Islamic protests at a soldiers’ homecoming parade in Luton. He claimed that the council thought it was a “good thing, even an Islamic thing” to kill troops.
