MCB writes to the Jewish Chronicle
Crooks, crims and bad wigs…
“Harry’s Place” takes ’em up on it:
Here’s a snippet from a long and bleating letter from the Muslim Council of Britain to The JC:
Your report suggests that the Board of Deputies claim that the MCB is dominated by ‘Islamists‘ — an arbitrary term deployed for cynical ends. The MCB is a diverse body, and we are proud that our constitution requires the body to represent the rich and diverse British Muslim community. ‘Islamists‘, whatever that term means, are as much a part of the Muslim community as any other Muslim tradition or tendency. We are an inclusive body and all of our affiliates are committed to seeking the common good of all. (Bear hug anybody? “Common good” for Muslims means Islam for all, and dhimmitude for unbelievers, or worse…/ed)
It is an interesting question, isn’t it – what does “Islamism” mean?

Just in case you’re wondering who is behind this social engineering of the justice system, don’t look any further than the usual suspects: Jack Straw & Company will ensure that Islamic terrorists will be released as soon as possible, because keeping them in jail “could inflame the situation”…
Beyond belief! And here was I thinking that the justice system was there to punish crime, and therefore to reduce it, whilst our judiciary think punishment increases the likelihood of crime. Get me out of here!

Fatima Burkatulla clears up “misconceptions” about the niqab.
1.The niqab is a symbol of female subjugation.
None of the niqab-wearing women who I know, wear it because they have been forced to. They see it as an act of devotion to their Creator: the culmination of a spiritual journey. In fact most of them are women who were born and brought up in the UK; many are White or Afro-Caribbean Muslim converts to Islam who have chosen to observe it. The hijab, niqab and abaya are outer garments and are worn only when outdoors or in the presence of men who are not close relatives and so, contrary to popular belief, underneath their robes, in family and female-only settings Muslim women are often very fashion conscious and outgoing. They dress in everyday clothing; they get their hair done, go on holiday and even buy lingerie!
2. Women who wear the niqab cannot possibly contribute to society
People are surprised to hear that niqab-wearers come from varied vocational backgrounds. They include doctors, teachers, dentists, authors, social workers, university graduates, lecturers and more. They usually prefer to work in a female environment and so would not wear the face-veil all the time. Other women say that wearing the niqab actually makes them feel more comfortable when they are working with men. It is ironic that the very women who are the subject of debate are far from being a burden on society: they don’t get drunk and disorderly, don’t smoke and are likely to be very good citizens. Many of them are full-time mothers who take pride in raising well-educated children who will be an asset to British society.

* Update: UK teacher fired after reporting Muslim students’ racism
A panellist  on Al BeBeeCeera suggested that Mr Bari believed the kidnapping and killing of British soldiers was a good and Islamic thing. Mr Bari was not (even) mentioned by name, but was implied in the panellist’s reference to the “leadership” of the Muslim Council of Britain. For that he gets £45,000 in damages?Â
The Islamofascists must be laughing their sorry asses off!
BBC pays damages to Muslim “leader”
Mr Bari has publicly condemned the killing of British troops
The BBC has agreed to pay £45,000 in damages to the head of the Muslim Council of Britain over a libellous claim in the Question Time programme.
The claim was made by a panellist on the programme, who accused Muhammad Abdul Bari of implicitly condoning the kidnap and killing of British soldiers.
Mr Bari argued this was untrue, citing his public condemnation of the killing of British troops in Iraq in 2007.
The BBC accepted the argument and apologised unreservedly.
The libellous claim – made on the 12 March 2009 edition of Question Time – came in response to a question from an audience member concerning controversial protests in March by a group of Muslim men against a regiment of British troops on parade in Luton on their return from duty in Iraq.

* Amazing stuff: now they’re suing the networks after the guests who speak out…similar to attacking bloggers over the comments. Litigation Jihad accelerates the Islamization of once great Britain:
The BBC has offered £30,000 and an apology to the Muslim Council of Britain after airing accusations that it encouraged the killing of British troops.
The corporation offered the settlement after a Question Time panellist accused the council of failing to condemn attacks on British soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan. Charles Moore, a former editor of The Daily Telegraph, made the comments on the programme in March during a debate about Islamic protests at a soldiers’ homecoming parade in Luton. He claimed that the council thought it was a “good thing, even an Islamic thing” to kill troops.
* Of course they do. THEY can say that. But the kuffar must not say that; what’s the world coming to, you Islamophobe, you!
