Obama to visit Saudi Arabia June 3 to discuss Iran

US President Barack Obama will visit Saudi Arabia on June 3 for talks on Iran’s nuclear program and Washington’s renewed push for a Middle East peace plan, the White House said on Tuesday.

White House spokesman Robert Gibbs said Obama would meet Saudi King Abdullah and would also discuss terrorism. (Reuters)

Jordan’s foreign minister summoned Israel’s ambassador Tuesday to protest a proposal National Union MK Arye Eldad made in the Knesset last week that Palestinians be given Jordanian citizenship.

According to the official Petra news agency, Nasser Judeh issued a strong protest to the ambassador “over a debate in the Knesset on a motion on a so-called two states for the two people on the two banks of the Jordan River.”

Judeh said Jordan was “dismayed by the debate and categorically and totally rejected the proposal submitted by a Knesset member, calling on the Israeli government for a clear explanation of what took place in the Knesset.”

ANOTHER new private  Islamic school is on the cards for the area but residents have been left in the dark again.The applicant, who cannot be named for confidentiality reasons, lodged a development application with Bankstown Airport last week to build a school on vacant land at Birdwood Reserve.

Locals said they were alerted to the proposal to build what is believed to be an Islamic school via their Bass Hill’s Future website, but were never officially told and assumed it was a rumour.

Bankstown Airport chief executive Kim Ellis confirmed the application last week.

“The DA is being processed at the moment,” he told the Express.

The Muslims who were arrested last week for plotting to blow up two Bronx synagogues and bring down an airplane have exposed yet again the virulence and ugliness of Islamic anti-Semitism. Said one plotter: “If Jews were killed in this attack … that would be all right.” Plotter James “Abdul Rahman” Cromitie, a jailhouse convert to Islam, said: “I hate those mother——-, those f—— Jewish b—— …. I would like to get [destroy] a synagogue.”

Muslim groups were quick to condemn the plot. Quick to issue statements were the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), the Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC), and New York Muslim leaders.

A Sydney cabbie who raped three female passengers is an “honest, caring person who would not harm a soul”, a judge has been told.

Fatima Kazan also said her brother-in-law, Hassan Nagi, was “very, very sorry” for his offences.

She was giving evidence in the Downing Centre District Court on Wednesday at the sentencing hearing for 37-year-old Nagi, of Bexley.

Nagi has pleaded guilty to raping three women, aged 31, 23 and 27, in 2003, 2006 and 2007.

Ms Kazan said she had known Nagi for 10 years and had been shocked to learn of his crimes, adding, “This was out of his character, this is not him.”

She saw her brother-in-law daily. “He is always crying, he is always depressed.”

His lawyer handed up to Judge James Bennett a bundle of material, including “confidential submissions”.

The hearing is continuing.

Police being sued for defamation over questioning suspects

THREE men questioned by police on Sydney streets are suing the New South Wales Government, saying the officers made defamatory comments about them within earshot of passers-by.

Alleged statements such as “we are stopping you because you guys were … intending to steal” could cost taxpayers hundreds of thousands of dollars and restrict the way police conduct routine investigations, The Australian reports. 

The NSW Government recently tried to have the men’s cases thrown out of court.However, a NSW District Court judge not only gave the two separate cases the go-ahead, but ordered the Government to pay the men’s legal costs. 

Payouts of up to $250,000 can be awarded if comments are found to be defamatory.

That swarm of badges consisted of the FBI, Chicago Police and the Joint Terrorism Task Force. In their sights were two buildings on the 6300 block of North Artesian. People who live in a six flat there say the feds were very interested in its basement, specifically, two storage lockers….

“They was looking for someone who lives in this building. So I was like ‘what’s the cause?’ They said ‘we don’t want to say yet, but it’s a life and death situation.’ I was like ‘wow,’” said Johnson.

The Nimroz government said the books, copies of 11 titles, undermined national integrity and could fuel ethnic problems.

Greece: Muslim associations sue policeman for allegedly desecrating a Koran

ATHENS, Greece — Muslim associations in Athens have filed a lawsuit against a policeman who allegedly desecrated a copy of the Koran last week, media reported on Monday (May 25th). Last Thursday, the policeman allegedly took a Koran from a customer during a police check at an Athens coffee shop, ripped it apart, threw it on the floor and stomped on it. Police say the officer did not know it was Islam’s holy book. 

The Pakistani community in Greece called on the government to assume responsibility for the incident and demanded an apology from authorities. The incident prompted two days of protests by hundreds of Muslims in central Athens. Violent clashes with police on Friday injured at least 14 people and damage several businesses; 46 people were arrested.

Questions need to be asked:

  1. Why is there a “Pakistani community”  in Greece?
  2. Since when is Islam’s “holy book”, the Koran, protected under Greek law?
  3. Who pays for the damage and injuries caused by the Muhammedan rioters? 
  4. Why  are these illegal squatters not rounded up and deported?

Why are the authorities refusing to fund France’s oldest Muslim school, now facing bankruptcy?

* Translation: how do we get the infidels to finance their own demise?

  • Quel Malheur! I have a great idea: why not ask the filthy rich Wahabites of Sowdi Arabia to drop a few million in their account? Or why not join the French schools which are open to everybody regardless of creed? Why do these Muslims insist on being seperate from the mainstream while demanding to be funded by the same people they despise?
  • Strangely, the Guardian doesn’t show such compassion for the abduction, brutal torture over 24 days, and horrific murder of Ilan Halimi, a French Jew who was lured into a honeytrap by the  adherents of the very same Religion of Peace…

Between the prayer mats the white lines of a sports court are just visible. This is Réussite, France’s oldest Muslim school. And it is on the brink of closing.

“We are collapsing under the weight of our debts,” says Yvonne Fazilleau, the school’s headteacher. “Last week our accountant said to me: ‘We are penniless’.” They have enough money to pay wages for the next two months. After that, the future is uncertain. When I telephoned to arrange a visit, Fazilleau was unable to phone me back: “We don’t have enough money for foreign calls.”

Liberalism withholds judgment until finding an answer bulletproofed by logic and reason, and this practice is nothing less than the bedrock of the first world.

I am of course referring to classical liberalism, now tragically mistitled conservatism. The half-philosophy known as the Left co-opted that most precious word, liberty, then stopped reading at “withholds judgment.” And this anti-intellectual betrayal of humanity’s best idea has once again resulted in an unfathomably dangerous historical anomaly: an existential threat is flourishing, liberty and life are at stake, yet the ones we now call liberals refuse to pass judgment on the illiberal. They have access to enough logic and reason for a bombproof conclusion, yet they refuse to pass judgment.
