Pakistan: Jihadists torch over 2 dozen NATO fuel tankers (right after NATO smoked a good number of Talibs)
In light of recent threats, more damning revelations, and the supply line cutoff, the loss of 27 tankers (according to the BBC) is a rather curious coincidence.
If nothing else, as this article notes, it is an indication that “the insurgents are expanding their reach,” a direct product of Pakistan’s long-running double game.   An update on this story. “Dozens of NATO oil tankers attacked in Pakistan,” by Aaron Favila for the Associated Press, October 1:

Several years ago, as Pakistan’s double game became increasingly obvious, I began making the point frequently that to give aid to the Pakistani government was essentially to finance the jihad, and that we should stop cutting our own throats and instead cut that aid. In late 2008, when it was confirmed that a great deal of the money that we gave to the Pakistani government to fight against jihadists was funneled to those same jihadists, I began to emphasize this even more.

Islamist enmity for infidels, regularly manifested in the jihad, is by now moderately well known. Lesser known, however, but of equal concern, is the mandate for Muslims to be loyal to fellow Muslims and Islam — a loyalty that all too often translates into disloyalty to all things non-Muslim, including the American people and their government.
This dichotomy of loyalty to Muslims and enmity for infidels — which, incidentally, corresponds well with Islamic law’s division of the world into the abode of war (deserving of enmity) and the abode of Islam (deserving of loyalty) — is founded on a Muslim doctrine called wala’ wa bara’ (best translated as “loyalty and enmity”). I first encountered this doctrine while translating various Arabic documents for The Al Qaeda Reader. In fact, the longest and arguably most revealing document I included in that volume is titled “Loyalty and Enmity” (pgs.63-115), compiled by Aymen Zawahiri, al-Qaeda’s number two.

CAIRO (AP) — Al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden sought to drum up support by taking advantage of Pakistan’s flood tragedy with a new audiotape released Friday criticizing Muslim governments for their slow response and calling for the creation of a new relief body to aid Muslims.

The Jeddah Economic Forum — at which Al Gore spewed some of the most inflammatory anti-American propaganda this side of al-Jazeera — was funded in part by Osama bin Laden’s family. Jeddah is bin Laden’s home town.
In January 2002, Bill Clinton was paid $267,000 to address this same forum. You may remember Clinton as the randy ex-President who responded to September 11 by publicly spitting up stuff like this:

Even in the 20th century in America people were terrorized or killed because of their race.
America was  spared the catastrophe of an Al Gore presidency. But that doesn’t mean al-Gore can’t follow in Slick Willie’s footsteps.

Ex-minister Rachida Dati confuses oral sex for inflation
France’s glamorous former justice minister Rachida Dati confused oral sex with rising prices as she launched an attack on foreign investment funds.
Rachida Dati was dropped from the French government last year after her penchant for designer dresses and appearing on the covers of celebrity magazines prompted criticism that a senior minister should not engage in such frivolity.

Typical mainstream media bias. Hindus say more than just that: there is a clearly historical reason why the site belongs to them. Even AFP acknowledged this a few weeks ago: “In 1992, the 16th-century mosque was razed by Hindu zealots who said it was built on the ruins of a temple marking the birthplace of the Hindu warrior god Ram.” It attributes the claim that the 16th-century mosque was a victory mosque built on the site of a destroyed Hindu temple to “Hindu zealots,” but it is noteworthy for a mainstream media source even to go that far into what mainstream reporters would ordinarily classify as “Islamophobia.”

MSNBS’s Matt Lauer is as dim as a lame stream media tart can be. In this gushing promo for mosque developer Sharif El-Gamal he fails entirely to ask  any relevant questions, while Gamal the thug tells him “I’m calling the shots on Ground Zero mega-mosque” and the usual “we are here to stay” drivel.
The waiter-turned-millionaire developer (a transformation not yet satisfactorily explained) Sharif El-Gamal has said that “when you beat up someone physically you get exercise & stress relief,” and he has a history of run-ins with the law. But now the mainstream media is in full-bore whitewash mode, even as he digs in his heels and continues to try to demonize the opponents of the Islamic supremacist mega-mosque at Ground Zero. This is nothing other than Today’s Show’s love letter to El-Gamal, along with some choice observations from Pamela Geller, here.
He may be insisting that he is calling the shots on the project because his partner Hisham Elzanaty recently said that he was.

It’s been an eye-opener to see how my country, the United States, views my religion, Islam,” Sharif El-Gamal, chairman of Manhattan-based real estate company Soho Properties, told Matt Lauer.
He added there are a lot of misperceptions about his Islamic faith. “We are peace-loving Americans. Fear makes people irrational, and our identity has been hijacked by the extremists.”…
Building a mega-mosque at Ground Zero, and insisting on doing so in the teeth of enormous popular opposition, is sure doing wonders to dispel those misperceptions, eh, Sharif?

Diametrically opposed governmental reactions to recent Koran burning episodes are on display in Britain and the United States.
The British reaction demonstrates the extent to which our “mother country” has retrogressed toward a full self-imposed dhimmitude of the non-Muslim majority under Sharia-based tenets dictated by its mainstream fundamentalist Muslim community — despite the latter being a relatively small demographic minority. According to The Daily Mail,
Six suspects were seized after allegedly torching the Muslim holy book in the backyard of a pub… Two men were arrested on suspicion of stirring racial hatred, and have since been released on bail. On Wednesday (9/23/10) four more Gateshead men were arrested and bailed….Police confirmed the arrests were in relation to burning the book, not for making, distributing or watching the video. “On Wednesday, September 22, four men from Gateshead were arrested on suspicion of stirring racial hatred,” a spokesman said.
Contrast this craven abandonment of free speech and capitulation to Islamic supremacism in Britain with the sober — and US Constitution-affirming — reaction of Stuart Dunnings III, prosecuting attorney in Ingham County. Michigan.
As reported in the Detroit News, Dunnings categorically rejected intense pressure from local Muslim leaders to pursue charges against a Lansing, Michigan man who admitted to burning a Koran outside an East Lansing mosque. For example, Dawud Walid, executive director of the Hamas front and unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation jihad terrorism funding trial, Council on American-Islamic Relations-Michigan, argued vociferously that the Koran burner, whose identity has been protected by local authorities, face federal charges. Walid fumed;
Not to prosecute this hate crime would send a terrible message to bigots that there will be no legal repercussion against those who intimidate Muslims at their houses of worship.
But Dunnings refused to abide the hypocritical, taqiyya-laden arguments by the Sharia-supremacist organization CAIR and its Michigan spokesperson. Prosecutor Dunnings simply “..didn’t find there was any violation of Michigan law.” Elaborating, Dunnings further denied there was any evidence of a “hate crime,” and he also affirmed that the act itself was Constitutionally protected free expression, as had been determined previously for flag burning
Burning a holy book, whose pages were found outside the Islamic Center of East Lansing on Sept. 11, doesn’t qualify as a hate crime…We don’t have a hate crime. There was no threat of physical intimidation because (the man who burned the Koran) was the only one there at the time…The act also was protected by the First Amendment
