August, 2003. Abraham Hzaife is jailed for the rape and imprisonment of two prostitutes:

The County Court heard that Abraham Hzaife, who has the reading age of a nine-year-old, “carefully planned” both attacks. He used a car fitted with stolen registration plates and child safety locks, but no window winders.

Judge Anthony Duckett said prostitutes were entitled to the same protection under the law as any other citizen. But Hzaife, who has an IQ of 74, could be free in early 2007, having already served 11 months in jail …

Judge Duckett said Hzaife had an excellent working record, was remorseful and had good prospects of rehabilitation.

We have seen this appropriation of other traditions many times in the past — indeed, the Qur’an’s depiction of the Biblical prophets as Muslim prophets indicates that this kind of appropriation is foundational in Islam: “Abraham was not a Jew, nor yet a Christian; but he was an upright man [Muslim hanif] who had surrendered (to Allah), and he was not of the idolaters” — Qur’an 3:67

In verses 65-68 of the Qur’an’s sura 3, Allah rebukes the Jews and Christians for arguing over something about which they “have no knowledge” (v. 66): the religion of Abraham. The Patriarch couldn’t have been a Jew or a Christian, says v. 65, because “the Torah and the Gospel were not revealed till after him.” In reality, he was a Muslim hanif (حَنِيفًا مُّسْلِمً) (v. 67) – as the Tafsir al-Jalalayn explains: “Abraham in truth was not a Jew, neither a Christian, but he was a Muslim, professing the Oneness of God, and a hanÄ«f, who inclined away from all other religions towards the upright one; and he was never of the idolaters.” What’s more, Muhammad and the Muslims are “the nearest of kin to Abraham,” as Ibn Kathir says: “This Ayah [verse] means, ‘The people who have the most right to be followers of Ibrahim are those who followed his religion and this Prophet, Muhammad, and his Companions…”

A Kurdish man killed his German-born wife, who was also his cousin, because she was too independent. He stabbed her in the eyes, beat her with a billiard cue and then ran over her in his car. His mother-in-law had told him to be “strict” with her strong-willed daughter.

“Damn it, we’re not on some television court show here! You keep your mouth shut!”

The presiding judge is shouting like a trucker. A foreign spectator had called out something in the direction of the bench, something harmless and not insulting.

One of the Kurdish witnesses was in the courtroom at the beginning of the trial, which is not permitted under German law. He is related to the defendant and the victim. “This is a case that involves my family. I have to be here,” he said, explaining his presence.

“You don’t have to do anything!” the presiding judge said, interrupting the man. “You need to stay home until you’re summoned.”

This isn’t a TV courtroom, but the courtroom of the judge presiding over the 10th Higher Criminal Chamber of the Bielefeld District Court, Jutta Albert, a woman with peroxide blonde hair and a voice capable of grinding stone. The way she treats people from different cultures is a little strange, to say the least.  (Its not the killer whose on trial here. Its the judge who is not yet  infected with politically correct indoctrination)

Nonie Darwish, an ex-Muslim and author of the superb book on Sharia, Cruel and Usual Punishment, comments on the Rifqa Bary case: “Former Muslims need protection now from the US government and court system. We need protection from Sharia Islamic Law.”

In spite of the clear danger to the life of Muslims who leave Islam, both the legal system and mainstream media still don’t get it. The most recent case in the US of the 17-year old girl, Rifqa Bary, is an example. US courts need proof (even though it is clearly stated in Islamic law books) that Islamic Law condemn apostates to death and encourage any Muslim on the street, even family members, to kill them. Western media does not seem to be interested in the topic. That is the same media that dedicates weeks of valuable air time to ridiculous claims of human rights violations only to certain privileged groups in America.

Meet Yusuf al Qaradawi, "Moderate" Jihad-Mufti With 'Mainstream Views'

Since there are no “moderate” killers (or terrorists)  I fail to see why we should regard murderous headbangers like Al Qaradawi as “moderate”. But Stein also tells us that  “Qaradawi’s views on jihad are already relatively well known and, in the Arab context, mainstream”- from the Guardian CIF:

Strange. Our recent taqiyya troll Solkhar tried to downplay Qaradawi’s importance by comparing him to Jerry Falwell.  Does anyone fear Jerry Falwell?
