Muslims should make peace with Germany, argues former hate preacher Mohammed El Fazazi, the man who once provided religious instruction to the men behind the 9/11 terror attacks. SPIEGEL ONLINE has published an abridged version of his open letter to Muslims.

In 2001, imam Mohammed El Fazazi of Morocco preached that it it is a Muslim obligation to “slit the throats of non-believers” in a Hamburg mosque. Among his listeners and star pupils were Mohammed Atta, Ramzi Binalshibh and Marwan al-Shehhi, three of the men who participated in the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks in New York and Washington.

Today, eight years later, Mohammed El Fazazi has foresworn acts of terrorism against Western targets. “I admit that I went too far and overshot the target,” he wrote in an open letter to his daughter, who lives in Hamburg, and Muslims living in Germany.
Muslims living in Germany, he said, should draw attention to themselves and their issues through “peaceful demonstrations, strikes and protests that are far removed from indiscriminate attacks” and the “killing of innocent people with the argument of killing kuffar,” or non-believers.

Selective outrage: Islamic world fuming over German who murdered hijab-wearing woman

The selectivity of the outrage here is stunning. Alexander Wiens has apparently committed a heinous crime, and he should be punished to the full extent of the law. But to pretend that his crime is a manifestation of some pandemic “Islamophobia” is simply political manipulation. Muslim groups in America and Europe need “hate crimes,” because “hate crimes” confer victim status, and victim status confers privilege. Victimhood is big business: insofar as Muslim groups can claim protected victim status for Muslims in the U.S. abd Europe, they can deflect unwanted scrutiny and any critical examination of how jihadists use Islamic texts and teachings to justify violence and supremacism.

That’s most likely why CAIR and others have not hesitated to stoop even to fabricating “hate crimes.” They want and need hate crimes against Muslims, because they can use them for political points and as weapons to intimidate people into remaining silent about the jihad threat.

But note: while Barack Obama spoke in Cairo about his determination to protect the right of Muslim women in America to wear the hijab, no one is speaking up for the Muslim and non-Muslim women in Islamic countries and in Muslim families in the West who have been threatened or murdered for not wearing the hijab. No one demonstrated for Aqsa Parvez, murdered by her father in Canada for not wearing the headscarf. No one demonstrated for the women killed in Iraq and elsewhere for not wearing it.

The outrage here is selective, and nakedly manipulative.

Fooled again

The Muslim community in Rheinfelden/Germany got approval to build a mosque with a minaret on condition that no loudspeakers be attached and that no amplified call to prayer would annoy  nearby residents. As soon as the building was completed, the muezzin started to wail and howl over 3 powerful loudspeakers and annoyed the hell out of the neighborhood. Now, because of the upcoming referendum in nearby Switzerland (a citizens initiative has already collected over 120.000 signatures against mosques and minarets) some think the muslims gave away the game to soon….

So, according to the latest news from Jihad Watch Germany,  the soldiers of Allah removed the loudspeakers (for now) since it was “childish and  thoughtless”. Lets see what they say after the Swiss had their referendum.

The bearded terrorist, identified as ‘Abu Askar the German’, belongs to one of Osama Bin Laden’s ‘foreign legions’ fighting alongside the Taliban.

In a new terror video posted online he vows to ‘achieve a victory for Islam’ using the huge blade, which is inscribed with an Arabic passage from the Quran. In pictures designed to scare British and American soldiers is also seen sitting with an AK47 rifle.

The  reason for waging jihad has nothing to do with Israel or U.S. foreign policy:

You will  find this story highly unlikely, folks.  Since when have young Germans ever been drawn to militaristic, fascist death cults inspired by racism and an urge for world domination?

Last week the Pakistanis found a village apparently full of white German Taliban. From the Telegraph report it sounds like it even has its own estate agents:

A recruitment video presents life in the village as a desirable lifestyle choice with schools, hospitals, pharmacies and day care centres, all at a safe distance from the front.

A couple of years back there was a surge of Germans converting to Islam, and among these there seem to be many young people attracted to the most extreme form. And while the self-hating Germans may be especially vulnerable, it’s easy to see why teenagers immersed in modern youth culture are attracted to radical Islam.

There is, firstly, the political currents. Among the youth of western Europe anti-Americanism and anti-capitalism is the norm, so that unless a 17-year-old happens to pick up a copy of the Spectator or read Theodore Dalrymple in City Journal, he or she will not know any different from the mainstream opinion that America is a war-monger destroying the planet, Israel is causing conflict between the Muslim world and Europe, and white racism stops Africa progressing. And with Communism dead and socialism weakened, global Islamism is the number one international opponent to American capitalism. To those who see no moral difference between the US and the gangster states of Asia and Africa, and their proxies, the Taliban might even be seen as the underdogs.

Most of all teenagers yearn for idealism. To people growing up in Germany radical Islam is both sufficiently non-European (indeed, anti-European) while also having the manly and moral qualities of strength and brotherhood that attract drifting young men, who in the past might have opted for Nazism and Communism.

And, most of all, it’s the ultimate rebellion.

Al-Qaeda tells Germany to change leaders

Al-Qaeda warned Germans on Friday to change their government in the September 27 election, saying they will face a “bad awakening” if they do not, according to two intelligence monitoring services.

Germany was also told to withdraw its 4,200 troops from Afghanistan or face being attacked at home, the US-based groups said.

In video footage a man identified as Abu Talha the German, and speaking in German, says that if Chancellor Angela Merkel is re-elected, “bitter times await the Germans,” according to IntelCenter and the SITE Intelligence Group.

He asks: “Mrs Merkel, what is the logical outcome reaped by the British and Spanish conservatives by their support for the Iraq war?” in an apparent reference to attacks in Madrid and London in 2004 and 2005.

He appears to suggest that if German voters do not heed his warnings, Al-Qaeda will act within a fortnight.

Counter Jihad News:

Germany’s interior ministry said on Friday there was an increased risk of attacks on German soil ahead of the elections, and said security at airports and train stations had been boosted.

Addressing German Muslims Abu Talha says: “Al-Qaeda asks you to stay away from all that is not necessary in the two weeks that follow the elections, if the German people does not decide to withdraw its soldiers from Afghanistan. Keep your children near you in this period.”

Abu Talha, whose real name is said to be Bekkay Harrach, stands in front of a red backdrop, wearing a jacket and tie.

He is said by the German authorities to be a native of Morocco, and in his early 30s, who has lived intermittently in Bonn and is now thought to be in the Afghanistan-Pakistan border area.
