No Muslim must be killed for killing a kafir, a non believer.  His daughter wanted to leave Islam, which made her a kafir, and that’s why her father murdered her. Instead of applying the law, the Arizona judiciary wraps itself in preemptive, voluntary dhimmitude:

Remember the case in which Faleh al-Maleki, an Iraqi-American father brutally ran over his daughter, Noor, in Arizona, then attempted to escape but was apprehended in Britain and returned to face justice?

Guess what’s just happened? The Arizona prosecutors have been scared off seeking the death penalty. Public defender Billie Little raised the specter of “How will it look for Christians to execute a Muslim?”

I kid you not.

Billy Little asked the judge to “take special precautions to ensure the County Attorney’s Office wouldn’t wrongly seek the death penalty because Almaleki is a Muslim.” Little called for an “open process (to) provide some level of assurance that there is no appearance that a Christian is seeking to execute a Muslim for racial, political, religious or cultural beliefs,” referring to County Attorney Andrew Thomas’ Christian faith.

Words fail me here. Are Christian lawyers, by definition, hopelessly biased against Muslims? This is a fact not in evidence. Is the public defender Christian? Why should this matter in America? What if the judge is Christian? Does Billy Little understand that Muslim judges do not usually prosecute men who honor murder their wives, sisters, or daughters?

Where are the pathetic excuses who call themselves “feminists” in the West? Why haven’t they staged marches on the mall? Where is Naomi Wolf, who enjoys all of the riches of Western civilization, while waxing poetic about the burka?

I am going to throw up.

Despite all the the scientific progress  and technological and advancement, man is as he ever was, barbaric and violent. Today, voices are only raised against the good – the United States, Israel, Australia, Marshall islands, Honduras, ……………….  and Geert Wilders.

The politically correct MSM is pissing themselves to report this honor killing, which just can’t, isn’t,  must not under any circumstances have anything to do with Islam. Once again, we see the perversion of language: she was not living according to their “traditional Iraqi values”- and the father was a “strict conservative”, implying somehow that people with traditional values, conservatives, habitually kill their daughters if they step out of line. We gotta keep an eye on these Christians, dont’cha know!

Strangely, in this rather rare  case here, where a Muslim was accused of beating his brother to death the press had no problem to correctly depict it as an honor killing…..

Denial and deception instead of any honest effort to come to grips with the root causes of honor killing. “Arizona Police Hunt for Dad Accused of Running Over Daughter: Police Say Faleh Hassan Almaleki Believed His Daughter Was ‘Too Westernized,'” by Sarah Netter for ABC News, October 22 (thanks to Robert Spencer from JW):

Police in Arizona are hunting for an Iraqi-American father who they say ran over his daughter with his car to punish her for becoming “too Westernized” and rebuffing the conservative ways he valued.

Memo to ABC News: “conservatives” don’t generally run over their daughters with their cars for any reason at all.

And of course, the “Muslim community” fears, as always in such cases, that dreaded “backlash:”

Hmm, not too sure about that. My guess is that they have good intentions, but when it comes to the hard work and getting into the nitty gritty the “Muslim community” will get so fired up that they will back off, as usual…

* British police have launched a new drive aimed at stopping “honor killings” and other domestic crimes directed against women. (that was in 2004)

British authorities recently reopened 119 suspicious deaths of women where no charges were brought, but which are now suspected to have been honor killings. This has already been announced in 2007 and  what exactly has been done about it?

In other words, someone who kills his child incurs no legal penalty under Islamic law. In accord with this, in 2003 the Jordanian Parliament voted down on Islamic grounds a provision designed to stiffen penalties for honor killings. Al-Jazeera reported that “Islamists and conservatives said the laws violated religious traditions and would destroy families and values.”

When girls or women suddenly disappear, we tend to assume that they’ve been kidnapped by pedophiles or traffickers. Some of us think they were probably prostitutes and either deserved to die or were, tragically, lured to their deaths by a serial killer.

We do not think they might have been killed by their own families. And, we always assume that the slavers are men. Both beliefs are wrong.

For example, in 1999, in a suburb north of London, a fifteen year old Kurdish Turk, Tulay Goren, suddenly disappeared. The family insisted that she had simply run away. Now, a decade later, her father, Mehmet Goren and her paternal uncles Cuma Goren and Ali Goren are on trial at the Old Bailey for her murder and for having conspired to kill her much older boyfriend, Halil Unal.

Three Jordanian men were charged on Tuesday with premeditated murder after allegedly stabbing to death their divorced sister as well as burning her body and house over her “bad reputation,” police said.

As usual, this has nothing to do with Islam, can’t blame the religion of 1.5 gazillion peaceful, law-abiding Moslems for the actions of a few,  America has far more murders, In India they kill too, in Africa they bury new-born babies and if the world was Islamic  we would all be so much better off…

So the father of Al-Shabaab jihadist Abu Mansour Al-Amriki (aka Omar Hammadi), who we recently learned was raised in Mobile, Alabama gave an interview with WKRG-TV this week where he blamed US foreign policy on Somalia for his son’s decision to get into the terrorism bizness.

But since Shafik Hammami is one of the primary leaders of the Islamic community in Mobile, his real purpose was to assure everyone that his son’s radicalization didn’t occur in Mobile, which is the first point he makes in the video below. His son was just magically translated to Somalia by the beneficence of Allah and was radicalized there in response to US foreign policy. Whatever.

I guess we can all go home now.  The lawyers for the parents of Rifqa Bary assured the court today that there is no such thing as honor killing in Islam. The attorneys who are employees of CAIR said that Rifqa’s concerns were unfounded. And if CAIR says so it must be true.

What they ignored is the major question, why are employees of an organization named by the DOJ as a sponsor of terrorism allowed to operate as lawyers in the United States. It seems to me that they should be in court as defendants, not attorneys.

Sheik sez: What’s the world coming to? Nothing is Islamic anymore, not even Islam. FGM? Tribal. Child marriage? Un-Islamic. Killing of apostates? Not in the Koran. Sharia? Ancient rulings. I asked Gail Gartrell, “honor” killing murder victims Amina and Sarah Said’s aunt, if she would take a moment and share her thoughts on Tissy Said’s (Amina and Sarah’s mother) recent confession. Despicable. The Muslims for whom she covered and abetted no longer have use for her, so she will now mine the murder of those tortured girls.

I, for one, believe Tissy should be in jail. Her crocodile tears, almost two years later, are transparent and pathetic. It is only now that she admits that it was an honor killing, but it was Gail Gartrell who was brave and true to those girls. Gail exposed the honor killing right after the murders, at their funeral. Gail spoke for those girls when no one would. Gail has received an unremitting, unrelenting string of death threats since Amina and Sarah’s murder, merely for speaking the truth about the “honor” killing.

Does the murderous mom thinks that the magic words “honor kiling” are her get out of jail free card?

“Death for apostasy” kills any prospects for peaceful coexistence between Islam and any of the other religions. Now we know they tell us one thing, while they tell their own another, in the age old tradition of taqiyya. Therefore, peaceful coexistence with Islam is “dead on arrival.”
