I can imagine such a newspaper report. So can lots of other people. And they imagine such reports all the time. They imagine them in order to reinforce the false moral equivalence they have embraced, and to avoid facing the hard facts of the doctrines of jihad and Islamic supremacism. But that’s all they are — imaginings. This one is real.

At least nine people have been killed and more than 50 injured in a blast at the home of a Muslim cleric in Pakistan.Dozens of houses were flattened by the blast east of the city of Multan in Punjab province.

The house was often used as a makeshift religious school and some reports said seven children were among the dead.

The blast left a crater 12 metres wide and more than 20 nearby houses collapsed.

Witnesses say the ground shook like an earthquake.

The cause of the explosion is unknown but police found rocket launchers at the scene and suspect there may have been an ammunition dump at the cleric’s house….

The electoral success of Geert Wilders has spooked the traditional Dutch ruling class so badly that it seems to be willing to use extra-constitutional — or even extra-legal — means to get rid of him.

A Dutch (Socialist) Cabinet Minister last week openly called for a revolt against Geert Wilders and his electorate.

I always thought that openly calling for a revolt was considered a criminal act, but seemingly I am wrong: it is PC, as long as it is of “the elite” against “the right”. Socialist Minister: “I really believe that a revolt of the elite is desperately needed.”

Geert Wilders responded: “A revolt!… What if I said anything like that! I determine that a prominent member of the Cabinet has now issued a call for revolt!”

Greek riot police have led an operation to demolish a makeshift camp housing illegal immigrants in the western port city of Patras.

The camp was used by migrants hoping to smuggle themselves onto ships bound for Italy and Western Europe.

Its closure is more proof of Greece’s tougher stance on illegal immigration.

The camp had been a source of tension with many Greeks who regarded it as a major eyesore for themselves and for tourists arriving from Italy.

‘Terrorising migrants’

About 100 riot police escorted bulldozers into the camp before dawn.

They levelled scores of cardboard and plastic hovels.

Only a makeshift mosque and a tent used by volunteer doctors were left untouched.

The camp in Patras had been in existence in some form or another for 13 years.

A few months ago, it accommodated about 1,800 people, mainly from Afghanistan.

Her nation is one of the last places on Earth where large numbers of humans are still kept as property.

And like thousands of other slaves and freed slaves across the Saharan country, her hopes are fixed on an inspirational candidate, a man born to slave parents who has sworn to put an end to the practice of “owning” humans if he is elected president.

"Poor Peoples Travel Agent" Aids & Abets Islamic Invasion of Australia

Ian Rintoul denies it, but there is at least the possibility that this refugee advocate helps to lure illegal boat people here, only to blame government when the predictable drownings occur: 

REFUGEE advocate Ian Rintoul denies having any contact with people-smugglers, whom he describes as “poor people’s travel agents”.

And he blames Australia’s border protection policies for the probable loss of 20 or more lives from a boatload of refugees that went missing in Indonesian waters last Wednesday.

The Australian last week revealed that Mr Rintoul was in regular mobile phone contact with a passenger on the sinking vessel, who told him the engine had failed.

Only a ”possibility” that he’s responsible?

I’d say it’s a certainty. He was obviously aware that this boat was comning he should be charged as an accessory.  If people die, accessory to murder. All care and no responsibility… “As refugee activists such as myself become known and trusted, some asylum-seekers may come to us before they approach the authorities.”

I think Mr Rintoul needs to be put under a microscope.

US out, Iraq collapsing into chaos

But hey, it’s a victory, as far as Maliki is concerned! “Prime Minister Nuri Kamal al-Maliki has taken to calling the withdrawal of American combat troops from Iraq’s cities by next Tuesday a ‘great victory,’ a repulsion of foreign occupiers he compares to the rebellion against British troops in 1920.” -  New York Times via JW

In any case, any “victory” the Americans won in Iraq was sure to be undone as soon as the troops were gone, and we are already seeing that. Sunni will go after Shi’ite and vice versa, the Iranians will press forward to create a Shi’ite client state, the non-Muslims will be victimized more than ever — Hugh Fitzgerald in particular has been saying for years that this would happen, and every days the news shows anew that he was right all along.

Peter Sissons, the veteran newsreader who announced his retirement last month, … claims it is now ‘effectively BBC policy’ to stifle critics of the consensus view on global warming.

He says: ‘I believe I am one of a tiny number of BBC interviewers who have so much as raised the possibility that there is another side to the debate on climate change. The Corporation’s most famous interrogators invariably begin by accepting that “the science is settled”, when there are countless reputable scientists and climatologists producing work that says it isn’t.

‘But it is effectively BBC policy… that those views should not be heard.’

CAIR issued an alert saying, “if any person is solicited to join a politically extreme organization or to make statements regarding the media crazed catch-phrase ‘jihad against the West’, CAIR is requesting that you notify them of the incident”… Attempting to silence us, attacking free speech, silencing everyone who uses the phrase “jihad against the west” ….. is a part of the jihad against the West. Get it?

They have intimidated and threatened, and have succeeded in silencing Robert Spencer to speak in Chicago at an American Library Association panel. This is a terror attack. This is just as destructive as a bomb going off somewhere, perhaps worse.

A scholar silenced in Chicago, but the an Overthrow America convention in Chicago is ok. Got it?

Hamas-linked CAIR thumps its chest after succeeding in restricting free speech at the ALA

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) has succeeded in silencing speech about Islam that it does not want you to hear. CAIR’s press release about this incident is entitled: “Good News: Islam-Basher Will Not Speak At Library Association Conference: CAIR to work with the ALA to schedule a future event on the same topic as the canceled panel discussion.”

How helpful!

With whom will the American Library Association be working on this? CAIR is an unindicted co-conspirator in a Hamas terror funding case. Its operatives have repeatedly refused to denounce Hamas and Hizballah as terrorist groups. Several of its former officials have been convicted of various crimes related to jihad terror. Several of its other officials have made Islamic supremacist statements. CAIR also was involved in the Flying Imams’ intimidation suit against the passengers who reported their suspicious behavior.
