Abdul Haq al-Turkistani, described by an al- Qaeda-linked website as the leader of the Turkistan Islamic Party:   “They [Chinese] must be targeted both at home and abroad. Their embassies, consulates, centers and gathering places should be targeted.”

Using the Uygur name for Xinjiang, he added: “Their men should be killed and captured to seek the release of our brothers who are jailed in Eastern Turkistan. Our duty, we in Eastern Turkistan, is to continue to resist without desperation.”

    Moslem education – Worthless Diplomas

    In Islamic countries education has a completely different role than in Western countries. At the prestigious universities of the Islamic world, it is more important for an aspiring engineer or physician to know the Qur’an than the future professional field. From Kabul on Maschad, Isfahan, Ghom, Tehran to Riyadh and Jeddah diplomas and titles are issued  for “doctors” or “engineers” over which Westerners can only frown.  That is also the reason that people from these countries seek medical treatment in western countries, or prefer to hire construction engineers from Western countries (such as in Dubai or other Gulf states).

    It is clear that diplomas in states of the Islamic world have a completely different meaning than those in Western countries. Gutmenschen (liberal progressives)  don’t accept that and demand  equal recognition of such diplomas from Islamic states. That is one side of the coin.

    Parallel to this is currently an initiative  which is more than questionable: self-proclaimed Moslem universities, title mills  in the middle of Europe,  award  Ph.D. degrees or other degrees, which have nothing, absolutely nothing in common with  the European education system, –  such as Alhurra, the Dutch University and also in the Netherlands  “Global Lahaye University” (Source: Elsevier July 2009).

     The term “university” is not legally protected. Any goat-herder can open a “university.” This is how Muslims  in Europe turn Koran students now increasingly into university graduates. Naive multicuturalists  who believe all cultures are equal  tend to show much goodwill towards  such certificates. All this speeds up the decline of western culture – wherever Mohammedans of such universities in Europe demand that such “diplomas” are considered,  the quality of education goes in only in one direction:  skid row!

Providing a reality check, Radical Women spokeswoman Alison Thorne told the Melbourne rally that marriage was an oppressive institution designed to condemn women to lives of slavery, but same-sex couples should nevertheless be equally entitled to it. She then led the crowd in a chant: ‘‘Kevin Rudd, ALP, we demand equality.’’ 

Next they’ll be demanding equal-rights burqas.

Two Arab families who were squatting in Jewish-owned homes in the Shimon haTzadik neighborhood were quietly evicted this morning after the Supreme Court ruled that their ownership documents were forged. The Shimon haTzadik neighborhood is the Hebrew name for Sheikh Jarrah, home of the Shepherd Hotel (pictured).

Two Arab families were evicted from Jewish-owned homes in the Shimon HaTzaddik neighborhood of Jerusalem on Sunday morning. The evictions took place following a Supreme Court ruling in which the court found in favor of Jewish families who claimed ownership of homes in the area.

The evictions took place without unusual disturbances, police said. More from Carl in J’lem

Why the Arabs can’t accept a Jewish state

Prime Minister Netanyahu has demanded that the Arabs accept Israel as a Jewish state. That’s a demand that the Arabs are incapable of accepting – ever. Mordechai Kedar explains why.

Thus, according to Islam, the State of Israel is not legitimate. From a religious point of view, Judaism is void. The Jewish nation is an invention of the Zionist movement. The land called “Israel” is considered Islamic Waqf land, consecrated for Muslims.

Netanyahu’s insistence on recognition of the state as a Jewish nation-state contradicts the Islamic faith, and questions the very essence of Islam, whose relevance is based on the invalidity of Judaism (and Christianity as well).

Therefore, there is no escape from the conclusion that Israel’s struggle for survival is religiously based, even if externally it assumes the form of a territorial struggle. It does not matter what its size, Israel will never gain recognition by the Arab and Muslim world as a legitimate state. Similarly, international documents which legitimize the “Jewish State,” such as United Nations General Assembly Resolution 181 of 29 November 1947, are viewed by Muslims as illegitimate.

Many say: “You are turning a territorial conflict into a religious one,” when they mean to say that territorial concessions would facilitate the recognition of the Arabs and Muslims in the legitimacy of the State of Israel. Such a statement assumes that the Arab and Muslim world is as secular as our own, and shares our concepts, values and priorities. This is the result of Israeli and Western ignorance of all that is related to Islam and the Arab world, derived from the fact that Westerners do not understand Arabic and Arab and Islamic culture. Israelis and Westerners alike are not exposed to the harsh truths which are expressed in the local tongues, and are well-concealed by spokesmen of “inter-religious dialogue.”

Recognition of Israel as a legitimate Jewish nation-state has no hope or chance as long as Islam perceives itself – and itself alone – as “the true religion with Allah.”

Exposing lies about Jerusalem

In a letter to the editor in the Boston Globe, CAMERA’s Andrea Levin exposes some of the liesbeing told about Jerusalem.

Jerusalem’s Arab population grew much faster than its Jewish population, rising from 25 percent of the total in 1967 to 35 percent in 2008. Likewise, Arabs have enjoyed a building boom in the city as Palestinian demographer Khalil Tufakji candidly observed in a CNN interview, stating: “We can build inside Jerusalem, legal, illegal, rebuild a house. . . Maybe we lose 10 houses [to demolition], but in the end we build 40 more houses in East Jerusalem.’’

Arabs and Jews have equal access to building permits, pay the same costs, and experience the same waiting period to get approvals. Some in both groups sidestep the law and build illegally, then face removal – just as in Boston or any other city with zoning laws.

Natan Sharansky, then minister of housing, reported in 2002 that at least 40,000 housing units had been built with Saudi money for political purposes.

Casting Israel as the heavy while ignoring Palestinian activity in Jerusalem may suit an ideological preference, but it’s inconsistent with the realities.

“Ban on burqas would show support for women’s rights” was the headline on Andrew Oldenquist’s Forum column of July 23.

This hits me personally, because I have been wearing a burqa for 20 years by my own choice. I covered my face for 17 years and do not mind wearing a face veil again. It’s a personal and religious obligation that is very dear to me and is protected by the Constitution. I am proud to say that America never puts me down because of my burqa.

Canadian muslims fail to denounce recent terrorist attacks

It is almost two weeks since jihadi Islamists carried out a terrorist attack in Indonesia, causing many casualties, including injuries to two Canadians. The dust had barely settled when on Sunday other jihadis half a world away struck with a vengeance and barbarity that shocked the world. This time, their playground was the Muslim-dominated parts of northern Nigeria. More than 100 people have been killed, and the fighting is reportedly continuing.

One would expect Canadian and U.S. Islamic groups to come out with the usual denunciations but, surprisingly, even clichéd condemnations failed to materialize. In the past, Canadian Islamic groups have issued statements about “Islam being a religion of peace” and that “terrorists do not speak for Islam,” but not this time.

Compare this silence with the brouhaha over the July 1 stabbing in Germany of a single hijabi-wearing Egyptian. It triggered demonstrations. The executive director of the Canadian Islamic Congress denounced the media for their supposed silence. He said if the woman’s killer had been a Muslim, “The media would’ve reported it widely. Then for days afterward, they would deliberate the case and conclude that Muslims are ‘brutal and uncivilized.’ But when a racist European murders an innocent woman, the silence is deafening.”

Australia’s  resident Islamo-shyster  Yusuf Irfan was so enraged by this that he put up an extra blogpost wondering  “How Bolt and Blair might spin this murdered woman’s story …”-

But from his writing its hard to know what bothers him more: the murder  of the litigatious muslimah  or the  “white-skinned European man”who killed her.  (When Muslims kill Muslims, or when Muslims kill infidels, its a non-event/ed)

A departure and a return:

In the legend of Moorish Spain, Boabdil, the last Muslim ruler of Granada, is said to have paused on a ridge for a final glimpse of the realm he had just surrendered to the Castilians. Henceforth, the occasion, and the place, would be known as El Último Suspiro del Moro, The Moor’s Last Sigh. The date was Jan. 2, 1492.

More than five centuries later, on March 11, 2004, there would be a “Moorish” return. In the morning rush hour, 10 bombs tore through four commuter trains in Madrid, killing more than 200 people and wounding some 1,500, in the deadliest terror attack in Europe since World War II. This was not quite a Muslim reconquista of the Iberian peninsula, but a circle was closed, and Islam was, once again, a matter of Western Europe.

In his “Reflections on the Revolution in Europe,” Christopher Caldwell, a meticulous journalist who writes for The New York Times Magazine and other publications, gives this subject its most sustained and thoughtful treatment to date. The question of Islam in Europe has occasioned calls of alarm about “Eurabia,” as well as works of evasion and apology by those who insist Islam is making its peace with European norms. Caldwell’s account is subtle, but quite honest and forthright in its reading of this history. “Islam is a magnificent religion that has also been, at times over the centuries, a glorious and generous culture. But, all cant to the contrary, it is in no sense Europe’s religion and it is in no sense Europe’s culture,” he writes.

It hadn’t taken long for Islam to make its new claim on Europe. Caldwell’s numbers give away the problem: “In the middle of the 20th century,” he tells us, “there were virtually no Muslims in Western Europe.” Now there are more than 15 million, including 5 million in France, 4 million in Germany and 2 million in Britain.

Crackdown on 80,000 immigrant wives with free pass to Britain

A highly controversial crackdown on immigrants accused of abusing welfare handouts is to be unveiled by Home Secretary Alan Johnson this week.

He plans to ban wives brought here, mainly from India and Pakistan, from receiving child benefit and a wide range of other state aid unless they learn English, support British values and do voluntary work in the community.

The move could affect up to 80,000 immigrants who are allowed to settle permanently in Britain each year after marrying a UK citizen.

THE Federal Government has warned that Australian icons such as the Great Barrier Reef, Kakadu National Park, the Tasmanian wilderness, Carlton Gardens and the Sydney Opera House could be damaged irreparably if the Coalition fails to support Labor’s emissions trading scheme.

Can anyone at all, even Climate Change Minister Penny Wong, claim hand on heart that this is literally true – that if the Coalition votes against Kevin Rudd’s scheme that the reef will die and the Sydney Opera House will fall into ruin?

This kind of utter nonsense is now what governments argue and newspapers print about global warming.

Enough with these lies.
