The bombing also wounded 35 others, with most of those killed and injured engaged in prayer, said Afghan Interior Ministry spokesman Zamarai Bashari.

“It is a terrible incident,” said Bashari, who said police were trying to find out more details about the strike and who is responsible.

The NATO-led command condemned the attack, saying that “it’s unconscionable that anyone would attack a mosque.”

“It’s clear the insurgents have no respect for the most holy of Islamic places,” said U.S. Navy Rear Adm. Greg Smith, spokesman for NATO’s International Security Assistance Force, or ISAF. (Source)

AFP-KARACHI — Eight worshippers including two children were killed in twin bomb blasts Thursday at a packed Sufi shrine in Pakistan’s southern port city of Karachi, officials told AFP.

The shrine’s floor was spattered in blood, said witnesses. Slippers, sandals and flowers brought by devotees to lay at the tomb littered the area.   Witness Gul Mohammad said he was outside the shrine when two huge blasts were heard in quick succession.

Muslims seem to have no morals at all. How can adults encourage children to throw stones at Jews and then stand around filming it for propaganda. The only person with morals is the Jewish driver who is clearly trying to avoid hurting anyone. He of course can’t stop since they would lynch him. If I were driving around a curve and suddenly saw that scene in front of me, I would behave in the same way. The kid is clearly not hurt but that doesn’t stop them from sucking every little bit of propaganda they can get out of it, even if it means forcing him into a car kicking and screaming. I guess we are meant to believe that he is being rushed off to a hospital. Most likely a Jewish hospital.

A lawyer and head of the Al-Fatkh Muslim organization in St. Petersburg, Dzhamaliddin Makhmutov, has sent a letter to Russia’s Constitutional Court asking if the introduction of advisory Sharia courts is lawful.

“I am putting forward the civil initiative of creating a Sharia court, which may reduce tension and [encourage] the growth of tolerance in society,” the daily quoted him as saying. “Together with labor migrants, Islam has entered the streets of our cities and not to notice this means to avoid solving the problem,” he noted.
