This guy would even fail as a master of ceremonies in a Strip-Club. Geraldo is an Asshole with a capital “A” , he smeared Michelle Malkin,  who has about 1000% more integrity than he ever had, in the vilest ways:  “Michelle Malkin is the most vile, hateful commentator I’ve ever met in my life. She actually believes that neighbors should start snitching out neighbors, and we should be deporting people. It’s good she’s in D.C. and I’m in New York. I’d spit on her if I saw her.”

And now he spits on the troops. That’s why Geraldo Rivera is the Asshole of the month. The rest of you far left loony cue-jumpers: get in line!

Geraldo Defends DHS Memo/War on Terror News

Any one that knows me knows that Geraldo is my most disdained so called “journalist.”  I didn’t like him when he was a “talk show host,” but consider him a model for what’s wrong with the “lawyer” profession, and consider him to be a model of what is wrong with broadcast “journalism.”

But don’t let my tactful mincing of words fool you: I despised Geraldo before I saw his report tonight.  And I have good reason for that, but tonight he stepped a little further over the line.  Tonight, he used his time on Fox to defend the Napolitano/DHS memo.

Tonight, he decided to use his time on the bully pulpit to demonstrate that “Veterans really are a threat”

Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano says she owes an apology to the millions of American veterans she libeled last week as dangerous extremists and potential terrorists.

But she’s not backing down on what she insists was an accurate “assessment” of a “right-wing” terrorist threat — saying only that “to the extent veterans read it as an accusation, an apology is owed.”

Not good enough.

In fact, the report that DHS released last week was a bizarrely paranoid rant.

Spencer: The Somali Pirates Are Jihadists

According to the Qur’an, piracy in financial support of Jihad is Jihad. (Even if you already know the story of Susan Boyle, you’ll want to see the full video).

In Human Events this morning I discuss an almost completely ignored element of the Somali pirates’ identity: they’re jihadists.

This week, we celebrate the Navy SEALs’ rescue of American ship captain Richard Phillips. Their action, from the night airdrop that delivered them to the waiting warships to the split-second action in which three of the pirates were killed, was what we expect from our best special operations troops.But while we praise their skill, let’s not lose sight of who Phillips’ captors were. His Somali pirate captors are Islamic jihadists, dedicated to the same goals as Osama bin Laden and other jihadists around the world.

In August 2008, when the pirates became especially active off the Horn of Africa, Andrew Mwangura, head of the East African Seafarers’ Assistance Programme, declared that Al-Shabaab, a group of jihadists in Somalia, use piracy to fund their jihad: “According to our information, the money they make from piracy and ransoms goes to support al-Shabaab activities onshore.”

Arab official says U.S. relayed message ahead of meeting with Abbas

TEL AVIV, Israel – President Obama will move to create a Palestinian state “more quickly than anybody could imagine.” At least that’s the message the Palestinian Authority claims it received from the U.S. 

A chief PA negotiator, speaking to WND from the West Bank city of Ramallah, said that in recent days Palestinian officials held preliminary meetings leading to an in-person confab today between PA President Mahmoud Abbas and George Mitchell, Obama’s envoy to the Mideast.

The PA negotiator said the American team preparing for Mitchell’s meeting with Abbas conveyed to the Palestinians that Obama seeks to move swiftly toward a Palestinian state.

Said the PA negotiator: “They (the U.S. team) told us, ‘We don’t mind who is the government in Israel. Things will be closed (for a Palestinian state) and more quickly than anybody could imagine.”

JEDDAH: A large number of Saudis are engaging in temporary marriages with Indonesian women with the intention of divorcing them.

“Such marriages are likely to increase if Islamic scholars fail to give a clear ruling prohibiting them,” said Khaled Al-Arrak, director of Saudi affairs at the Saudi Embassy in Jakarta.

He said most Saudis were engaged in such marriages without realizing their consequences. “Some poor Indonesians marry off their girls to Saudis hoping it would put an end to their poverty and miseries. If the Council of Senior Islamic Scholars does not ban this type of marriages, things will go out of control,” Al-Arrak warned.
