ISLAMOPHOBIA BIGGEST OBSTACLE FOR WORLD PEACE, SAYS HEAD OF TURKISH RELIGIOUS AFFAIRS

More of the same; translation:  if we would just lie down and submit, everything would be just swell. Of course, it’s always entirely up to the West to stop Islamophobia. Muslim countries couldn’t possibly consider a few simple steps of their own.

* Somebody whack this Turkey upside the head with a lead-filled snow shoe, before the enraged soldiers of Allah peacefully cut our throats…

Curiously, Muslims have no problem with  hate-filled garbage like this:

ISTANBUL (A.A) – via ZIP – Islam is against all kinds of violence, and Islamophobia is the biggest obstacle for global peace, head of Turkey’s Religious Affairs Directorate said at the closing meeting of the 7th meeting of Eurasia Islamic Council.

“As a universal message, Islam is against all kinds of violence, extremism, pressures and intolerance. We announce that we are standing against violence and terrorism no matter who the perpetrators are and which religion they believe in,” Ali Bardakoglu told the council meeting that gathered representatives from 42 countries in Istanbul.

“And we are hopeful,” Bardakoglu said. “Because Eurasia has a big heritage of religious sciences.”

Bardakoglu said the Eurasian geography –from Istanbul to Sarajevo, Samarkand and Tashkent– was home to several important scholars in history.

“We must be aware of our rich heritage,” he said, adding that the Islamic world should overcome prejudices.

Bardakoglu also said Eurasian countries should work together to teach Islam and form a common calender for religious days.

Turkey to open office in Brussels to “educate Europe about Islam!”

And to work to dispel “Islamophobia” — you know, the linking of Islam with terrorism. Turkey’s Religious Affairs Directorate did not, unfortunately, announce any plans to open offices in Riyadh, Tehran, Gaza, Kabul, Baghdad, Swat Valley, Kashmir, southern Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, Nigeria, or anywhere else, to educate the Muslims there about Islam, and prevent them from linking Islam with terrorism.

Turkey’s Religious Affairs Directorate next month will open an office in Brussels to educate Europe about Islam, in line with a decision made during Pope Benedict XVI’s 2005 visit to Turkey. During the visit, it was decided that Turkey’s presence in Europe proves the possibility of Islam and Christianity’s peaceful coexistence. It was also concluded that Turkey, with its secular state and Muslim identity, could be a good reference for Muslims living in Europe.

What about the Christians who are actually in Turkey? Do they get to coexist peacefully also?Apparently not.

In order to block efforts to sow misunderstandings about Islam and stir up Islamophobia in the continent, the directorate decided to open a bureau in the European capital. This decision was also supported by the pope. (Pope Benedict’s colossal error)

Shotgun Wedding in Turkey (Romeo sends his regards)

Masked gunmen slaughter bride, groom and 44 party guests because ‘one of them wanted to marry the bride himself’

Masked men armed with assault rifles and grenades attacked a wedding party in a village in mainly Kurdish south-east Turkey, killing 44 people including many women and children.

The bloody raid on Monday evening was one of the worst involving civilians in Turkey’s modern history.

Citing unidentified authorities, CNN-Turk television said the attack may have occurred because one of the gunmen wanted to marry the bride himself and he opposed the marriage.

The Purpose of NATO Is to Prepare for War

The new  oldest enemy of the West is ideological Islam. If NATO wants to be a useful instrument in defending the West against this enemy it needs to accept a new member state – Israel – and stop groveling to Turkey.

Last week, Bernard Kouchner, the powerful Minister of Foreign Affairs of France, announced that he is no longer in favor of admitting Turkey to the European Union. Mr. Kouchner changed his mind, he said, at the recent NATO summit in Strasbourg on April 4th. There, Ankara threatened to veto the appointment of Anders Fogh Rasmussen, the Danish Prime Minister, as NATO’s new Secretary-General. The Turks objected to Mr. Rasmussen because in 2005 he defended the freedom of expression of Danish cartoonists who had depicted the Muslim prophet Muhammad.

* You gotta watch this: a video from Joels Trumpet at the end of this page, a speech by Sheikh Maulana Nazim Kibrisi, the leader of the Nashqbandi Sufi Muslims, known for their claims to moderacy. It was filmed in 1993 in Berlin, Germany. What is so interesting is that it was attended by the then sitting President of Turkey Erbakan as well as the present Prime Minister Erdogan. At least 50,000 Turks and Muslims were present for the rally. These Islamists made their intentions clear; they demand the subjugation of the West. The  Islamic conquest of Europe is a done deal for these headbangers.

Obama submits, surrenders in Turkey

* Frank Gaffney gets it (almost) right, but Islam is not only at war with “the West”- Islam is at war with the world, since its inception.

If the Army doesn’t remove the Islamic Erdogan-Gul revival government, nothing else will prevent Turkey from becoming another Islamic Republic.

The main international focus has been on Turkey’s EU entry talkswhich began in October 2005 on joining the European Union (EU). But the subtler and the less pronounced is the revival of Islamin Turkey despite nearly 90 years hostile secular Governments.

As a presidential candidate, Hussein Obama argued forcefully throughout the campaign that “America deserves a leader who speaks truthfully about the Armenian genocide and responds forcefully to all genocides.”… On Nov. 11, 2007, in one of the most memorable speeches of his campaign, the future president told a South Carolina crowd that “I am running because of what Dr. King called ‘the fierce urgency of now.’ I am running because I do believe there’s such a thing as being too late. And that hour is almost here.” For the precious few victims of the Armenian genocide still with us — in their 90s and beyond — that time has come.

Last month, the Turks and their friends in the administration defeated Nancy Pelosi, a determined, commanding speaker of the House. The passage of a resolution that would label the 1915 killing of Armenians by Ottoman Turks as “genocide” was postponed indefinitely. Pelosi’s friends on the Democratic side of the House were kind enough to save her from even greater embarrassment: The sponsors asked her to delay the vote —and she agreed.

* Turkish PM Erdogan: “Moderate Muslim Label Unacceptable”

Prime Minister Recep Tayyip ErdoÄŸan rejected attempts to call Turkey the representative of moderate Islam. “It is unacceptable for us to agree with such a definition. Turkey has never been a country to represent such a concept. Moreover,Islam cannot be classified as moderate or not,” ErdoÄŸan said, 

But whatever you do, don’t connect those dots to the  Pakistani bombing for Islamic purity or the other 13,000 fatal jihad attacks since 9/11/01. That’s Islamophobic! 

Erdogan’s taqiyya from the same article: 

“Those who are defending this mistaken and baseless assumption particularly can go as further as associating terrorism with Islam, which is named after peace, and it lays the groundwork for those who are trying to globalize Islamophobia,” he said. 

Islam of course means “submission”, not peace.

Turkey has never been a country to represent such a concept. Moreover, Islam cannot be classified as moderate or not,” ErdoÄŸan said, speaking at Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies late Thursday.
