Former US president Jimmy Carter entered the Hamas-run Gaza Strip on Tuesday, after urgingIsrael to lift a blockade on the Palestinian enclave and stop treating its residents like “savages.”

He denounced the Israeli blockade imposed on Gaza and deplored the devastation caused by the Israeli offensive in December and January against the Palestinian territory.

Ladies and gentlemen, last week was a tremendous week. My party, the Dutch Freedom Party, came second in the Dutch elections for the European Parliament!

Yet we, the Americans and Europeans and even Japan, are expected to pay for all the economic ills of the Muslim states that do not possess oil wealth (that, and the Jizyah of foreign aid from Infidels, is what keeps the Arab states going, now that there are no large non-Muslim populations to exploit and plunder) — in order, so it is said, to prevent “widespread poverty” from making the population susceptible to Al Qaeda.

In the last couple of days we’ve have quite a few of these ‘defenders of Islam’ on this blog. To spot these annoying time-wasters I dug this out from our “Islam” archive, just to help you all on how to smell the coffee early enough. Note also that most of these mental giants use Western names like  ‘Dave’ or ‘Michael’ and usually call themselves ‘Christians’-  all in the noble spirit of  “war is deceit”- but they are easily spotted.

Infuriating, is it not, to attempt to have a rational debate and to find yourself instead with an opponent who slithers about like an eel, and with whom you can never quite engage, because you can never quite grasp and hold him long enough, because he is forever slipping and sliding and meanwhile keeping of a non-stop patter of distraction and attack and omission and exaggeration. The very idea of a debate is or should be related to the idea that each party attempts, in good faith, to examine a topic together, and to ask, or answer, questions of or from the other.

Muslims don’t do that. They don’t ‘play nice’- because  they are religiously obliged to defend the indefensible, and you will be frustrated out of your wits about the detractions, the lies and prevarications that will be thrown your way.

Unless the moderator-hosts for such things set up strict rules, and demand that questions be answered and not remain un-answered or answered with irrelevancies, the farce will continue. And all that will have been learned is something about the eerily eel-like quality of the other side, with all that slipping and slithering –perhaps not quite as effectively as Tariq Ramadan — as far away from the real and serious matter at hand, as is possible.

When trying to debate with Muhammed worshipers you will end up frustrated and exasperated: Muhammedans are masters of a technique called ‘turnspeak’–  they use Tu Quoque (’you do it too-arguments) ‘accuse the accuser’- they employ kitman & taqiyya (lies & deception and dissimulation) they deflect away from the subject matter to avoid getting nailed on the unpleasant things like the atrocities, the rape, the plunder, slavery and child-molesting of the ‘profit’ Mohammed and his companions. Inevitably, if you know your stuff-,  you will be cursed, they will threaten to kill you and tell you that you will go to hell for questioning their belief-system.

Rev Wright APA leading Christian Zionist says if President Obama wants to be consistent in his condemnation of anti-Semitism, he should speak out against the latest anti-Semitic rant by his former pastor, Jeremiah Wright.

Pastor Wright told the Daily Press of Newport News, Virginia, on Tuesday that “them Jews” were keeping him from speaking to President Obama. He also criticized the president for not sending a U.S. delegation to the World Conference on Racism, saying Obama chose not to for fear of offending Jews and Israel.

Pro-Israel activist Gary Bauer, who serves on the executive board of Christians United for Israel, says Wright’s comments were yet another jarring reminder that he is an “open, unrepentant anti-Semite of the worst kind.”
 
“This is a man who has serious problems and is obviously a hater – and the mystery remains why in the world our president and his family would have stayed in that church for so many years,” he contends.

 Although the White House would not comment on Wright’s incendiary remarks, including his claim that Zionists were carrying out “ethnic cleansing” in Gaza, Bauer says President Obama needs to be asked how much of his Mideast policy was formulated by the two decades of teaching he received from Wright.

“Certainly when I see the president suggesting that Israel cannot build homes for Jews in Judea and Samaria, it raises serious concerns in my mind about what in the world is motivating [him] to take such a position,” he admits.
 
According to Bauer, if Jeremiah Wright is so concerned about “ethnic cleansing,” he needs to look no further than Gaza, where every Jew was forced to leave as they turned that land over to the Palestinians. Bauer is concerned that the Obama administration may be suggesting that no Jews will be allowed to live in the West Bank as that land is also turned over to the Palestinians.
 
Meanwhile, the Associated Press reports that Wright issued an apology on Thursday, saying he “meant no harm or ill-will to the American Jewish community” or Obama’s administration.

An Abbas aide told the Jerusalem Post that “It’s obvious, in the aftermath of this speech, that we are headed toward another round of violence and bloodshed.”

Palestinian Authority negotiator Saeb Erekat called on the Arab countries to suspend the Arab peace initiative to protest Netanyahu’s policy statement. 

Hamas said that Netanyahu’s address reflected “a racist and extremist ideology,” the French news agency AFP reported.

Israeli opposition leader Tzipi Livni said at a Kadima Party meeting Monday that Netanyahu took “a step in the right direction” during his speech Sunday.  She said the opposition would make sure Netanyahu’s words, calling for a demilitarized Palestinian state, would be translated into action.

A statement from a group of rightists said they would build dozens of new outposts in response to Netanyahu’s address as well as President Obama’s address last week in Cairo.

Israeli President Shimon Peres said in a statement: “The Prime Minister’s speech was a true and courageous speech that referred to the main issue — the establishment of a demilitarized Palestinian state alongside the state of Israel, the state of the Jewish People.  He also proposed to the Palestinians the opening of direct negotiations without preconditions. These remarks, which were enunciated in a clear voice, are very important regarding the strengthening of stability in the Middle East and constitute an opening of direct negotiations towards both a regional peace and a bilateral peace between Israel and the Palestinians.”

Geert Wilders: EU is not Israel’s friend

The EU is “one-sided and always against Israel,” Wilders said,  “nothing will happen” if Israel “depends on the Europeans” to stop Iran’s genocidal threats against the Jewish state.

Asked about the EU’s posture toward Israel and forcing the Islamic Republic of Iran to halt its nuclear weapons program, Wilders said the European Parliament has “always been biased against Israel.” He said he regrets “that they (EU) have a foreign minister” and argued that the “European Parliament should not be involved in foreign politics.”

Wilders said Israel was the “only light of democracy in the Middle East” and that Islamic war was “against us all.” The Jewish state was “more like the canary in the coal mine,” he said, and stressed that an “ideological conflict” was unfolding in the region. “It is not a territorial conflict. Carter: Israel, America On A Collision Course

Anti-Semite CarterDoes anybody on this planet still believe that Jimmy Carter is a credible, reliable source on anything? Why the Democrat Party has not completely disowned this jackass is beyond me.

Forget diplomacy. Jimmy Carter’s silence would be the best thing to happen to American/Israeli relations.

Israel is headed for a clash with main ally the United States over the issue of Jewish settlements, former US president Jimmy Carter said in an interview on Sunday.

Asked by the liberal Haaretz newspaper whether the Jewish state was looking at a “head-on collision” with the United States if it doesn’t comply with Washington’s demands, Carter said “Yes.”

Now, I hate to admit it, but that may very well be true. Thus far, President Obama has not exactly been a staunch supporter of Israel.

The former president, who brokered the historic peace treaty between Israel and Egypt in 1979, said Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank were the biggest hurdle in the hobbled Middle East peace process, saying they were “illegal and (an) obstacle to peace.”

Yeah, because the Jews are the problem. Those lousy settlers keep getting in the way of those friendly Palestinian rockets. The nerve!

Carter on Sunday made a rare visit to a settlement, saying he went to Neve Daniel “to make sure they (the settlers) understand my own attitude towards Israel, the Jewish population across the world and the Jewish settlements.” (H/T – Bretibart)

I do understand Carter’s attitude toward Israel:

He despises them, and will almost always side with Palestinian terrorists. Why? Because he’s a rabid anti-Semite.
